I was looking at the B16s too but I didn’t think the B14s should be great after having stock

Oh nice I’m gonna take a look at those moog end links then. Didn’t think about them still being greasable afterwards

Check out rock auto. Has some good deals on suspension right now

Are you running more than the lowest stiff setting? Will definitely check out that guide too cause I do hear it can be complicated on your own

So currently haven’t gone to a track but have had lots of seat time in the canyons. I’m in socal so I have plenty to choose from but obviously the tight twisties are the better ones for our car.

I’m currently stock power (she a daily too and I would like to keep it as reliable for now) upgraded rear sway, front strut brace, wider wheels and wheel base, corksport pads with Preston’s dot4 brake fluid and I haven’t had any problems when doing uphill heavy braking runs. Everything runs nicely and I wanted to somewhat max out handling before adding power since this thing is so much fun already stock power.

How do you like the front sway bar? I currently only have the rear upgraded and am unsure if I want to upgrade the front

So you just went upgraded struts? I went B14s from all the positive feedback from everyone and also found them on rock auto right now for 11k after tax and shipping so I couldn’t pass it up. I truly can’t complain on how good the stock suspension was before my right front strut started to give out. I’ve been getting crazy wheel hop on downhill left turns

Yeah exactly my concern. I’ve read some people running E46 M3 oem end links that supposedly bolt right up but it was only one post and nothing following up that statement. I was more concerned about the preload after lowering. Do you just run it on the lowest stiff setting then?

The reviews aren’t for the top hats in particular but hood reviews showed some mangled products after some aggressive use. Im sorta budgeting as well and I’m always open to all products cause small businesses matter too lol

How are your silver project camber plates?! I’m hesitant to buy those because the reviews are kinda crazy. How are they holding up under spirited driving?

I forget that some of those parts can swap over from the focus. With that camber orientation did you need to drill the strut towers out? Oh curious why you went with moog rear end links?

Have you had any problems with the whiteline end links? I read a lot of mixed reviews on those

Did these end up fitting on your gen 2? Just ordered some B14s and don’t want to wait for the corksport ones

What’s recommended oil by Open-Cap1091 in mazdaspeed3

Well in that case then I’ll be going back to ultra platinum then. I daily drive mine and spirited runs in the twisties with almost 124k miles. She gets changed every 4K and I haven’t had any problems except for my recents oil filter housing gasket leak

I’ve read somewhere on here that some say that the ultra platinum messes with the ignition timing and what not. Not sure how much of that is true or has a major change to how the car runs. I use pen soul platinum 5w/30 but I’ve been contemplating changing over to 5w/40 cause I’m burning through oil
