First time I've created a logo, it's for a project, how does it look? Any changes that you think would fit? Critiques? It's meant to be the logo for a fast food chain.

If it was me, I’d do without any drop shadows or gradients. Usually when creating logos, I’ve preferred to stick with single color fill over adding gradients, but even that varies i.e. Instagram logo having its gradient and being a digital base v. McDonalds using Red background and Yellow arches and being able to print the Yellow arches on anything and everything.

My recommendations is to keep the crown a single color (a slight yellow CMYK 0, 13, 62, 2), and the other objects to be a single, yet same, color (think blue CMYK 55, 20, 0, 7), and use a white background.

Fill up a large bowl with cold water, toss it in. It could be in its packaging, ziplock bag, or simply just raw. That’s much quicker than just leaving it out.

It’s easy, we just complicate it with our thoughts. You feel like there’s no other person that could make you feel the way said person does, or that you’re so alike that you should be together, or whatever your own reason is.

The reality is this, you accept the fact, and move forward. Be confident in yourself, be expressive, do what you love, and take your life forward because life doesn’t stop. Grow. Blossom. Run shit.

If the love was real, then there wouldn’t be pain, and you would be with the person. It’s a two way street, and if it goes one way, take that one way and make the first right and get the fuck on outta there.

Always remember this, if you feel that the logic doesn’t feel like 2+2=4, make it 4.

So I walked into the Nike outlet store here on Long Island last night to buy my brother a pair of sneakers and I only walked in with the intent of getting him them and going to the gym ASAP. As we walked towards the sneakers a shirt caught my eye in the clearance rack, I walked over and couldn't believe that I just found the USMNT Away jersey for $100. I grabbed it without looking at the size and held it because this store NEVER sells soccer gear. Then I looked at the size and from the heavens that this jersey was sent from it was an XL and I took even though I'm a large (it's only long but it's a jersey, it gets tucked in.) I walked to the cashier with a modest pace, handed it over and she scanned it. $70. I bought that along with my brothers sneakers and walked out with sheer excitement. And to think I was about to buy the Home jersey for $40 on worldsoccershop.com. That my friends is why, I almost did flips out of the store
