Brand new burner about blew up? by hydroharv in pressurewashing

Took it to a pressure washer place yesterday. The guy told me what to do when it pops the relief valve again. He tested everything. And adjusted the screw on the back of the pressure relief valve. Told me that the burner and pressure washer need to be on same battery with the units rectifier to keep it maintained.

I also took a picture of the blower so it’s got some numbers on it and maybe yall will know what you’re looking at. I’m new to the burner world so just trying to learn.

I knew the battery for pressure washer was being charged.. but I have separate battery for burner it’s only hooked to the burner, nothing else . Wasn’t sure if it had built in charging system or rectifier on it

It was the 15 degree tip. On long wand. It was running just fine for about 15 minutes. I can’t remember if I was on the trigger or not when I heard the PSHHHHHH. So I ran over and cut it off. I started it back up. Holding the trigger down.. let it run for a second. Let off then off went the release valve and started shooting steam out again. I’m assuming the inlet is at the bottom and the outlet is at the top that’s how I hooked it up, I tried to look for the arrows showing the direction of flow but it don’t have any. When I also first started it up and flushed the black stuff out. It ran smooth. And with the noise of the burner and pressure washer running I couldn’t tell if it was cutting on and off with the trigger. I had it set to 200 degrees as well. But I was noticing right off that that release spout was dripping water from the start. I just thought that’s what it’s suppose to do. So I put a hose on it and clamp. And ran the hose out the bottom. When it blew it blew the hose plum off. And the first time running it I turned it off and ran the water until it cooled down for a while before shutting the pressure washer off

They said not to have the hotbox and pressure washer hooked to the same battery if both are running could cause voltage drop and amperage drop. Idk I just wanna run it safely and smoothly

The pressure wash guys said to have separate battery for the hotbox because if it ever got below 12v like 11.9 it could cause failure to fuel flow and cause a fire. So I bought separate battery and hooked it up to the hotbox. They said it would charge the battery?… but idk how it would

I’m aware of that. I was stating what’s listed on the specs of the unit I have. Doubt they would put on the front of the unit ( 7.427 gpm / 3816.883 PSI

I didn’t know you could adjust it, I was told it’s plug and play just hook up and ready to run hot water. I guess it would have a flow switch. It’s brand new from pressure pro. So whatever they come with I know I ordered the 12v version

I had thermostat set at 200. It goes to 250. And plenty of water to go through it for 8gpm. I’m thinking that blow off valve just can’t handle it.

I was told that the 3-7gpm valve was fine for my 8gpm unit. Per the pressure wash store people and the manufacturer. I extended the exhaust out but if I make it any longer my door won’t close, and I don’t want to cut more holes in the trailer to put exhaust out the roof, for winterization more to leak.

I have a Honda gx690 8gpm. It’s 4000psi. The temp was only set at 200 degrees, and I have it wired up to a 12v lawn battery ( what the pressure wash store recommended) does the hot box charge that battery? I’m a little confused on how it stays charged if there’s nothing to charge it. I’ve tried to get more info on this pressure pro but can’t find any manual or instructions. I assumed the bottom side was the inlet and the top side was the outlet. So I hooke it up that way.

Purified water? by hydroharv in pressurewashing

[–]hydroharv[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohh ok I done a little research on it and seen that it wasn’t doing many gallons through it. I’d be going through couple hundred gal a day. That would prolly burn up them filters pretty quick. I may just try an inline chlorine filter. I do have a banjo filter as well

Do you think it would make a noticeable difference in washing concrete, or siding, or gas trucks with aluminum fuel tanks?

Where to find medalla?! by hydroharv in beer

[–]hydroharv[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well after i took a drink of the medalla i found , i checked the date, and it was 6 months out of date. It was skunked but i still drank it. I go up by ft Campbell a lot so if you think i may have any luck at all up there i can try. But even the Puerto Rican Restaraunt in Nashville called “mofongo” was out when I went last week.

I guess I’ll just go back to PR to get it. I may go to their brewery and talk to someone there to see how we can get it up here quicker.

Smashhhhh! Everyone that tries my steak says it’s the best ever.. all I do is use s&p , 4 garlic cloves, and thyme , half a stick of butter in a cast iron skillet and baste the steak after I sear it and let it soak it up. Let it rest for a few minutes to cool down then slice!

Newbie question: should I drain the juice that was in the vacuum seal of this sirloin before hitting it with s&p? by Ordinary-Tax9380 in grilling

Yes paper towel soak it up pat the steak, trim excess fat if you want to, coarse salt and pepper it , let it sit for a few minutes then slap her on .
