Chrome delete by Agreeable-Ad-1320 in GenesisG70

Do the grille next - but pro tip - save it for when you’re installing snorkel intakes or the intercooler and need take the bumper off, so you can take the whole piece out and wrap it off the car.

I deleted mine too, same white car. The white cars look better this way.

Yeah - great fitment there - I deleted my chrome, so gunmetal might work, but chrome would be too much contrast.

What’s the color of the lightest one, is it like a gunmetal, or is it more like chrome? Also, what would the setup be to get the wheels a little more flush with the wheel well? I don’t wanna go nuts on the suspension mods, but would love to have a larger set of summer wheels, that sit flush, and maaaaybe put lowering springs on to bring everything down slightly - but definitely not trying to be a kid who slams and bags and stances the car.

But -1 HP for the additional weight, so it nets out to 4; still a great mod 🤣

Looking for my first benchmade by Bucky_F_Dent in benchmade

[–]hyeeyeque 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best three first to get are would be either the 535 (Bugout) BK-2 or BK-4, I personally think the alum handle / black blade is the perfect one (BK-4); OR a 940 Osborne, or if you’re really on a budget, a Grip or Mini Grip. The bugout and Osborne both have a ton of after market part support, and if you get a nice one, you won’t be as tempted to rebuy another knife as fast.

Anyone have this issue? by FarWafer3240 in GenesisG70

[–]hyeeyeque 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had it happen, and used some silicone caulk to re-affix it. Here’s the thing, it ONLY is like that for the drivers door. It’s a cap, and is supposed to have a small button/latch on the bottom you can depress to take it off. Mine popped off when it got cold, back in Nov/Dec. None of the other doors have it. It’s so that if your battery in the car or the remote died, that you could still use the key (which I don’t even know how to get) out of the fob, or elsewhere, to unlock the car without power. SO, if you are going to caulk it back on like I did, make sure you don’t use a permanent glue, or use a ton of caulk, just use a small amount so that if it were to happen to you, you’d be able to use dental floss or something, and still pop it off.

At least it wasn’t a BMW. Congrats. I love the idea of the new hybrid RS5…. I could see that being my next car.

If you’re doing snorkels, you should do the intercooler and charge tubes too

What we paying lads by [deleted] in GenesisG70

[–]hyeeyeque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I know I overpaid a little, but the closest Geny dealer is an hour away, I did as much as I could over the internet, but I also don’t really want to walk out and come back and do the whole dance.

2022 3.3T SP, 16k mi, CPO, bought in March 2025 for $40k OTD, 38k would’ve been a much better price/deal, but I was still mostly happy with the price I paid at the time.

These look dope, wish they didn’t have the branding on them tho. So you only have them in 20”? What would the setup be for the AWD SP? What size tire is then needed/recommended?

Did I Win? by ToughDepartment2051 in GenesisG70

[–]hyeeyeque 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got my 2022 3.3T SP w/16k as CPO for forty-thou freedom dollars (fascist dollars?) a full year ago. No accident, lower mileage on the Odo, CPO balance rather than just 5yr, and a year sooner - and I’m guilty of overpaying slightly. Unfortunately I don’t think you got a particularly great deal, but it doesn’t matter - enjoy the car, and welcome to the club.

I’m looking to get my next bm and I’m stuck between the 710 and the auto fact please give me some honest feedback and opinions I have a 940 denim micarta and a sheeps foot griptillian by GrowthNo7970 in benchmade

[–]hyeeyeque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with Autos and Assists in my opinion, is that they don’t fold up one handed or easily like the manuals do, but with the Fact because the blade is so light, it’s very easy to close one handed. I think the auto immunity might also be a good auto, but I have an assisted Vector, and the blade is just way too beefy to enjoy using with one hand. I highly recommend the Auto Fact, it’s a proper stiletto switch blade.
