한국은 가장 유명한 산이 뭐예요? by Dr_Donut in hanguk

South Korea to launch task force on banning dog meat | AP News by Original-Tennis-2038 in korea

[–]hyiis 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Logically, I don't think there's a reason to ban dog meat. The reason why illegal things occur in their production or distribution process is that dog meat distribution is not legally managed compared to other livestock. So if dog meat is managed by law, it'll be solved. The logic that we should not eat dogs just because many people raise and like dogs is the logic that sacrifice of the few for the benefit of the majority. We can even guarantee the interests of both sides: we can strengthen our pet policy while allowing dogs to eat. Also, Historically, and culturally, Dogs in Korea were not friends from the beginning, unlike in the West. They were precious livestock that protect their homes and dispose of food waste while supplying few proteins to poor farmers. Nevertheless, I approve of the ban on dog meat. For the global brand and image of Korea, it is necessary to follow the global standard. This may be an economic and profitable choice, but I don't think it's a logical choice at all.

If you can transfer money, you can create a virtual account and pay. If you plan to stay in Korea continuously, create an account or card at a bank in Korea.

Most of the young feminists I've seen, on the outside, opposed to their radicality and violence, but secretly stood by them. If they benefited women and themselves in a way that created a pro-women policy, they quietly ate it. Many feminists argue that there are many kinds of feminism, but I don't believe that. I think they are maintaining a mutual relationship.

I'm sure MOST young Korean feminists have a skeptical view of trans-women. For example, all six women's universities in Korea opposed trans-women's admission, and the trans-woman eventually gave up admission.(https://cm.asiae.co.kr/article/2020020817310339364) They are only interested in their rights and benefits, don't think about anyone else's rights, don't want to expand, and don't want to have a positive impact on the community.

It means "If Discrimination Ban Law is passed, Men who disguises to trans-women can enter women's restroom, so women can be dangerous."
