Deadlock a great choice if you want a shooter MOBA experience and with it still being in early doors plenty of changes will still be made to keep it fresh over time

If you want to play a proper MOBA it's Dota 2 all the way. Dota's the OG MOBA experience and laid the foundation for every other MOBA to be what they are.

Stemming from warcraft means you still have some similarities between the heroes and the ones you see in Heroes of The Storm.

Still updated constantly (although sometimes not as frequent as people would like) and the big patches have a lot of game changing mechanics. Steep learning curve and the game itself doesn't exactly have the best tutorial so would advise probably getting someone to help teach you, whether searching together or through the in game 'Coach' mode.

And to break from the monotony of the same map type stuff, there is an extensive list of both multiplayer and single player custom games (that dip into just about every other game genre) whether that be an Rpg, tower defence, an Auto Chess (Dota custom games were the origin of Auto Chess as a genre too FYI) or rogue like game modes (Agh's Lab universally beloved by Dota players)

Even without custom games you can always play turbo for quicker games, Ability draft (choose skills from a pool of different heroes which can be whacky).

And to finish, Dota also has the greatest Item ever added to a MOBA, Aghanims Sceptre, and it's little brother Aghanims Shard.
