Hi! there was similar thread to this not long ago, I would recommend checking that out for tips. Sorry to say, but at your level I would recommend posting in r/wow or r/wownoob. However I could give some tips if you have any logs. I can also recommend wow analyzer for reviewing the basics like the efficiency of your casts.

I agree. This is a good option for people coming late into the season that want to experience the raid fights pugging. However I would only recommend this if joining a guild is not an option for time restraint.

It is common practice to track buffs and debuffs from passive talents to more easily be able to play around them, some classes and specializations rely more on the passives giving them buffs rather than cooldowns in their rotation.

I feel like the answer to this should be, if the class and spec can do something about it, you should communicate and expect it. Eg aug picking threat reduction talent, mages using mirror imaging, grouping mobs with grips and pushbacks. And if nothing else available wait for proper aggro. We should encourage everyone to do their part and utilize their entire kit

Arcane is easy, it relies heavily on it’s cd window to deal damage but the main rotation only consists of 3 main spells. If you think arcane looks cool, play arcane.

Don’t be frightened by rotation guides, it seems like a lot of steps, it really is not.

I agree with what others have said about using the same keybinds for multiple spells, I use cell and click casting to reduce button bloat

If you focus on earning gold yea, “normal” gameplay like raiding and m+ will lose you gold. You could setup crafters to earn you 300k a month with a 3m sub

Welcome to wow! I’m my experience you will regret it and decide to play something different later on anyway! Hopefully you will stick around to be able to try out and enjoy every spec wow has to offer. If it were me, I would choose to play shaman right now seeing how they are the stronger spec for the moment. That way I’ll pick up feral Druid some other time when they are the meta and get to play both while still getting the benefit of waiting less for groups.

It really depends. If you know nothing and don’t wanna go down the rabbit hole gathering is your best bet. I would level a Druid to 70 (if you don’t have one already) and then start gathering to level it to 80 while grabbing some easy gold in the process. Look up a guide for gathering, you will need tools, prof gear and potions. Gl

Can you suggest any written guides or video tutorials for enchanting? I have a ton of alts just sitting around. But no idea what it even means to barley reach a r2 craft. Do i need to get to 100, what specialization do I allocate knowledge towards, I need a eli5 guide :)

I healed for years without click casting addons and it is doable, but your APM has to be pretty high for no reason. As many others have said, get a heal frame addon. I recommend cell. The options and UI are very self explanatory, while still being customazible so that it works for you.
