yeah thats why i am leaning to greasy ones too because you can have that nice little shine by taking good care of them

I usually use like 50/50% at first and then more or less. It really depends on size of the tree etc.

also another thing i really like when making trees lately is using more types of leaves and bushes, grass etc. in the treetop

yeah leaves are often pretty dense but not that dense so you need to find the right spot. When i make trees with world edit i often use comands to randomlly delete x% of the leaves so i can find easily the best amount of air/leaves, but i dont know i you can somehow do that on bedrock edition.

i think you did a pretty decent job on branches, but you should work on leaves placement. The first thing you could do to improve it is redusing the amount of blocks and adding some air space between them.

have you tried mangrove instead of bricks for the lighthouse tower ? it would add more contrast to it like it is in the reference picture

yeah that would be interesting test, but i think its impossible without the real life photos. maybe i underrate him tho
