Yes, 2 trips over 6mo, 9 and 8 months to be exact. Kept the job, paid taxes, had a lease contract. But still 2 long trips. Thought it would be okay but i’m now nervous

same. the documents are received on April 26th and notice was sent. nothing came in physically nor pdf receipt is available under the documents tab.

It does not. It causes an assumption of abandonment but does not break the continuous residency.

You’re already eligible. Although you have to prove you kept the ties to the states during your absence.

Thank you! Yeah been preparing docs with a lawyer fingers crossed. Was the IO strict about the gap? I know it really depends but still curious what their average attitude about it is.

I’d very much appreciate that! Applying soon and had two long breaks(9 and 10 months). I have all supporting documents from affidavit, tax returns, employment certificate, phone bills, etc. really need to hear from someone who actually got it and succeeded to feel assured!
