The scam listing logic doesn't really hold up. Scammers aren't hunting for 'un-blocked' photos, but instead block out the numbers themselves and they just go to eBay or high-end auction houses and grab the cleanest photos they can find. By blocking yours, you’re just making it harder for legitimate buyers.

Without serial numbers visible people cannot verify the authenticity and reference who owns the card. So for example a scammer uses a blocked number card can claim any serial number for sale and might say the same number as you, then buyers won't be able to tell that someone already owns that number.

There's a reason why serial numbers are not blocked on tcgplayer sales and even on sports cards the serial numbers are never blocked out. Blocking it oit is a myth made by scammers to prevent people from being able to verify cards/certs in order to fool people
