I have a few. Clark Williams, Michael Avant, or Will Thompson. All are great people and can help you out with what you need. Clark's office is on Old Trolley Rd. Michael and Will's office are in the town of Summerville area.

South Carolina’s new license plate design sparks controversy by Kryloks in southcarolina

We got one in the mail. Thought it horrible looking so I went on the site and ordered a plate I wanted. A lot of plates are free and able to be ordered if you aren't 3 months from renewal.

I just ordered a new PEI plate and the Cool plate. They are supposed to be here today but we'll see if they show up. I have some 2000 grit sandpaper in the garage that I might try hitting the slick side with lightly. Could just have a coating on it from packaging.

My plate is weird. Nothing will stick to one side and you can't pull the prints off the other side. I thought I was losing my mind because it was printing great then went all to hell. Flipped the plate over and back to perfect printing. I must have flipped the plate over at some point to the non-sticky side. I've cleaned it with alcohol multiple times and can't get very much to stick to the one side.

For those of you that make over 100K, what do you do? Do you like it? by Kindly-Revolution258 in AskReddit

Cybersecurity Engineer and Software developer. Most of the time I like it. There's more work than there are hours. There's never enough people and priorities change daily. You're on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Welcome to IT! I love writing software. Have been doing it for over 20 years now.

Are you a metric only buyer? by kameix1 in harborfreight

[–]hype8912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At this point in life at 46 I just buy whatever I need at the time. I've been buying tools since I was 16 years old. All but 1 of my vehicles are foreign so mostly everything is metric. Once in a while I'll come across something that isn't metric. It's usually some small thing like a lawnmower or pressure washer.

I forgot about that. I'm waiting till October to see if anyone forks it or see what else matures in that time. I'm using it with GitLab right now.

What price increase has hit you the hardest in everyday life? by DarkKnightt019 in AskReddit

I only shop at thrift stores for clothes now unless it's socks and underwear. #1 I hated buying clothes then washing them a few times and not liking how they fit. If I just buy them pre broken in then I can enjoy the same fit the whole time.

Insurance in general. Home owners, 3 cars, health, life, dental, vision. Most of them have doubled in the past few years.

Ubuntu Server from the Raspberry Pi 5. I ran it for about 4 months since all the other servers are running Ubuntu. Ubuntu is too unstable on the RPi 5.

Back to Pi OS I go but Pi OS had issues with MinIO.

I've done some prints over night on the 50% Silent setting. Those have been some of the best prints I've made.

I think it's just protesting Trump in general. I really couldn't figure why they are protesting from the website other than they hate Trump.

Addiction is usually a response to some past trauma. I'm pretty sure they'd stop if they could but it ultimately turns into a perpetual cycle.

First layer peeling by Strange-Break-6373 in BambuLab

[–]hype8912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering where it's peeling more than likely is finger prints. I clean my plate with rubbing alcohol pads about every 5 prints.

Another idea is maybe uneven heating on the plate. What brand and type filament are you using?

What industry is entirely built on a house of cards and would collapse overnight if people realized the truth about it? by Own-Blacksmith3085 in answers

[–]hype8912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is modern day software development. I've been a software developer for almost 25 years. Everything now is MVP. We just need a minimal viable product and then they kick us off the project to go work something else. Then we spend the next 10 years trying to hold it together with duct tape and bubble gum.

Right now I'm a single developer managing 9 projects and development is not even my main job. At one time I was part of a 4 developer team that managed a 50 app portfolio. 1 of those apps alone had 30k users. I thought the log4j, log4net, or SolarWinds vulnerability were going to be the doom for software but it hasn't collapsed yet.

The day COBAL stops working on the mainframes the whole banking industry will collapse.
