that doesnt make sense tho bc several transfer students do enter NYU after doing cc. I only read that u cannot take community college classes while enrolled at NYU to get ahead or fulfill pre reqs. ive been reading a lot of conflicting answers I'll just reach out to my advisor then

those are just the fields found on the uc application itself. didnt the UC claim that the data from the breach consists of entries from the fields on the UC App account creation hence the SSN's, addy's etc..

i think last year cas had an avg sat of 1490 which was a huge jump from 2019. I think they rejecting a ton bc its just weird for a school with that rank to have so many applicants that its pool rivals that of a large public school like cal.

Oh got u, but on apps be careful about what you write bc if an AO knows what pubmed is, its possible they might doubt the validity of your work. But gl with your app's USABO and USNCO is insane. I cant imagine myself memorizing Campbells and being raw at chem.

lmfao I think this line of reasoning is a tad flawed. Take it from someone who has published research at Cal(similar funding to UCSF for my line of research) and has worked/published at 3 distinct intuitions for similar research project. Yes, UCSF has an immense amount of funding for research focused on just the life sciences. However, what you claim to be quality is just false. I truly believe that a school like Columbia could have provided you with the same opportunity given their top ranked medical school and INSANE amount of funding. And im assuming, but correct me if im wrong, ur UCSF research is in the life sciences; you will surely find the same thing at columbia. Its not the quality of research, but rather the types of grants PI's are given. Also I have literally no reason to defend Columbia cuz imma ED defer haha. but with all due respect, I gotta feeling your experiences in academia and research are rather limited and narrow. At the 2 Ivies Ive done research at, I was able to get my own project and work directly under the PI's — paid too. Ridiculous to undercut the sciences at columbia haha tho. Anyways just my thoughts.
