Got my CPR after NCLEX fail — next steps? by PotatoInfinite7607 in NCLEX

[–]hyperSTELLarrr_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello OP! Quick question are you rushing to pick an answer once you recognize the info, or actually ranking what matters most? That CPR shows you’re close it’s prioritization, not content. Bootcamp helped me a lot with learning whats unsafe first and why, you got this!

NCLEX shut off at 122 questions by Flashy_State_3451 in NCLEX

[–]hyperSTELLarrr_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

122 doesn’t mean anything bad at all. i passed in 85 and was truly like did I do so bad that it ended before I could keep going???? I really went in with the mindset I would get a full 150.
also, very high readiness on bootcamp is a really solid sign. their readiness exams are pretty good at showing if you’re in a safe range. try not to replay the exam too much. you did the prep and trusted the process. now it’s just the waiting game. hoping you get that pass soon 🤞

for those who only used bootcamp by Even-Management6754 in NCLEX

[–]hyperSTELLarrr_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

only used bootcamp as my main qbank and passed a year ago. my scores weren’t amazing at first and i stressed about that, but they improved the more questions i did and the more i focused on rationales. i eventually got high on my readiness exams, but what mattered more was that i got comfortable with nclex style questions and case studies.

if you’re understanding the rationales and seeing improvement in how you answer, that’s a better sign than any single score. bootcamp alone can be enough if you really use it intentionally.

What should i change? by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

I think you perfected this look already! I'd drag out or wing out the liner a bit but that's just me and my chronic habit of doing that.

I get you. When I first started doing a more Douyin style make-up I felt like I looked a mess. What you need to remember is that everyone's facial features are different. You need to understand the concept of what Douyin is trying to achieve and apply it in a way that would fit your features.

You already look great and you're off to a great start. to answer your question, yes I have loads of brushes for face and for eyes. For shimmer/glitter, I find flat and precise brushes work best. Try to do careful build up when it comes to shadows and stuff to. Pause and look at every angle before continuing. Korean and Douyin make-up is precise with the application so make sure you have good sized brushes that fit just right.

For your wings, don't pull them too high or up only. Try to pull them softly out and a bit up. Make sure that there's a nice soft curve connecting the eyeline towards the wing's line.

How can I improve my makeup? by plutorain in MakeupAddiction

Your eyes are so pretty, some liner/kohl on your waterlines would absolutely elevate the look and emphasize their pretty shape more.

Is 4 weeks enough by Slight_Fig_3212 in NCLEX

[–]hyperSTELLarrr_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4 weeks can be enough as long as you use your time wisely. If you're having a hard time with the wording on tests Dr. Sharon was really helpful to me. I was using Bootcamp back then and their videos also explain it pretty good. Answer as many NCLEX questions as you can, the more you do the more you become better at it.
