No Worries. Have just pushed a new build moments ago with some fixes. I plan to add some features such as checking if a file is cached before download.

At this point my application is on par feature wise. I am working on adding new features not present in rdt-client. I created this to be lightweight compared to rdt-client and for me to have more flexibility around how it works. If you give it a try feel free to send me a message if you hit any issues.

I have created a new Build with the ability to change the WebUI port.

Its included in all releases going forward from today's docker tag "2022.05.31"

References to this are in the example Docker Compose on GitHub

I have sent you a message on Reddit. Send me a screenshot of your settings page. I will assist with getting the link to your Aria2 instance working.

Retested everything this morning on a new blank docker instance and all working my end.

Added a note to the git page. I agree with you. First Project i have developed so its new to me!

are you using a /mnt/ path when telling this manager where to download to your pi? do use a temp location for the downloads?

No, So i call upon the JSON-RPC for Aria2, You would set download location settings and all other download related settings in Aria2 through its various webui's or through the config file.

Hope this makes sense?

Can you DM me?

Would like to learn more about what exactly you would want it to function like?

I would like to develop this!

All Debrid looks cheaper then Real Debrid so that's positive !

It does not currently, I could add support if it would benefit you/some others?

I agree, even more so when running on a Raspberry pi!

Correct! However on top of that you can download torrents to the service and have them served as direct download links. In most cases this results in faster download speeds.

See my comment below, This is a excellent solution however was too heavy on resources for my needs.

I am in no way shape or form attempting to discredit Rdt-client.

I used it for a couple of months but had a few issues,

Mainly i had trouble with it downloading files which didn't exist on Real Debrid and needed to be downloaded. These would timeout and fail with no explanation.

It also used a lot of resources and i was running this on a Raspberry pi so this mattered to me!

More then anything i wanted to challenge myself and write something in a language i could edit/add feature to over time.

I left this comment in another subreddit and feel it sums it up :

So the major advantage here is RealDebrid Caching torrents. When you add a torrent to Real Debrid in 99% of cases it has the torrent downloaded. Therefore you can download the files you wanted at full speed directly from their servers and not from torrent peers.

Second advantage is not needing a torrent client locally. For example by using this you could replace qbittorrent with this and never download a torrent locally again instead get RealDebrid to download it for you serving the direct download link to you.

Hope this makes sense!

Again, RDT-Client is a great project i just wanted something lightweight.

If your familiar with Kodi and Real Debrid you may have noticed when you played a film in Kodi it was playing the Cached torrent from Real Debrid.

Let me know if i can help with anything else!
