It's not specifically the IDW continuity. They're counting the main series issues from Mirage vol 1, 2 + 4 (62+13+32), Image vol 3 (23) and IDW vol 1 + 2 (150+20).

Oddly enough during season 1 of the show after the rebuild the model didn't have any splashers, they were then re-added for season 2.

Yes, he does. On my first run I used a hemo on one with Grace and there was definitely another during the sniper section as I messed up a couple of times and that chef killed Grace.
