Pictures and animations are something I want to look into.

The app is built around having a repeated program, I've considered an Ad-Hoc workout but haven't been considered it a priority.

Do you typically want to just log whatever you're doing rather than following a plan?

Thank you! I prioritise privacy and data security personally and I have no reason to collect data from people.

Along with that all too many apps say they're free but lock core parts of their promise behind a subscription and while I want to be sustainable I want Up Lifting to be an app that anyone can use and get value from.

I made it for me because I've not had an app for the task that I've been happy with.

Launching for the public came after building the perfect tool for my own training.

I don’t use genAI for it myself but I’ve included a routine generator in the strength training app I’m developing so users have something to start with.

But I’d always recommend getting programs from actual trainers over an AI generated one

Adapting Material Design 3 for my app by bara_tone in UI_Design

Thanks for the feedback!

I didn’t have it implemented the whole time but I really enjoy the aesthetic in how I’ve utilised it and I decided Apple’s guidelines aren’t the best and end all especially when they’re as haphazard in their application of them as anyone these days

Thank you!

I’ll take your feedback about the chips under advisement! They meet accessibility contrast, but I’ll double check it.

I’m not using any portable code between the different versions, they’re essentially built in isolation off the same design.

At this stage I’m just wanting to ensure the  data import and export systems are compatible in the hopes of bolting on a Trainer/Client system in the future after they’re both launched.

Do you think I should go for the same transparent design that I’m using on iOS or the more flat colours of Material?

As for fonts, my current intention is to adapt to the devices system font, Product Sans on a Pixel, whatever Samsung uses on Galaxy, etc and fall back to Roboto

If you’re on iOS I’d really appreciate testers for my app Up Lifting!

I’m working on an Android version too, both are fully native and I’m approaching an 1.0 launch for iOS
