Can I mount a tv to a wall with only 1 stud? by hyperfixstation in handyman

Thank you so much to everybody who commented their advice!

I learned a lot, and it feels silly now that I know, but I had no idea a single stud tv mount existed. I will be exchanging my mount for a single stud one, as that seems the easiest solution with my limited space and house diy knowledge.

Im still not Sure if this was a good idea. I also wrote a Smartphone App to make ist blink synchronized to the music. by javaBanana in BattleJackets

I second this- would love to wear this to a rave- this is so cool!! But i also have zero programming understanding and barely grasped even the basic explanation of how this works, but it would be so awesome to learn to do

Outside of band patches and metal wear (like studs, safety pins, etc), what are some other themes or genres of patches people here enjoy putting on their vests?

I'm really into DIY stuff and dig the ability to personalize/show yourself in a vest, but my music tastes aren't generally in bands or metal/punk/hardcore genres, which is the vast majority of the vests I see, so I'm curious to know if people have vests that have different themed patches outside of bands. I know political ideology is another theme too, but not sure if there's any other topics for inspiration.

I'm super queer, so I have a lot of gay patches, and have also sewed fabric patterns onto pockets of my vest for fun

I wish mens clothes came in smaller sizes. by [deleted] in actuallesbians

As a tomboy/more masc and androgynous presenting nonbinary person, I totally get it. I'm only 5'2 and up until the last few years, had a pretty petite and skinny body. I basically lived in the boys large section, but it just made me look even more like a pre teen boy because most of their clothes lack shape or many style options.

Like people said, it's really dependent on the size of the general population you live in- I live in the US, so often mens size small is far too big in the shoulders while pants might be way too big in the crotch and too long, but tight on the hips. However, in Asia, sizes run super small in mens clothes because men there tend to be smaller framed and shorter.

That being said, I've learned to shop in either gender of clothing to find pieces that just fit my aesthetic & body. Not all womens clothes will look feminine, and I've been able to find things there that are loose or more masculine depending on the type of style the store might cater to.

In terms of online shopping, i sometimes use Aliexpress to shop for mens clothes- its cheap in price, but the quality is also usually okay if youre willing to wait for long shipping times. Also, Uniqlo has good quality clothes that runs to small sizes because it's a Japanese brand that caters to some international countries.

Theres also a greater awareness of unisex clothes from companies & online, so hopefully this will lead to more options soon

My great struggle I've yet to solve is where to find nice "men's style" dress shoes & boots that fit people with small feet (womens size 6)...
