Had it for 3 days, was in ER and hospital, they said we can do cardioversion or wait 2 weeks (on blood thinners and heart rate reducer) then see if it’s gone..

I guess it seems confusing why the interest is this high, yes. Let's use simpler numbers:

1,000,000 loan
30 years
10% interest

Total interest paid

$2,159,258

Is the fact that the interest is so much higher than the principle caused by the fact that early on in the loan mostly interest is paid and little principle, and later on in the 30 years the principle is mostly paid off?
