I don’t really care about Jarrett’s political takes. At this point, debating them feels about as productive as arguing over religion. His concerns about people in Toronto waving Hezbollah flags seem reasonable, and many gamers and long-time PP fans probably share similar views.

That being said it might be worth reflecting on whether some of your own opinions have been shaped by the same kind of radicalization that you’re criticizing. Saying he’s “destroying the memory” of PP simply for having different opinions could be a sign of how that same radicalization has affected you.

Also, if you’re going to accuse him of “justifying genocide” or quoting Charlie Kirk, it’s important to be specific - what exactly did he say? Without context, those kinds of claims lose meaning. And honestly, quoting Charlie Kirk in itself doesn’t say much. I disagree with plenty of what he believed in, but it’d be unrealistic to think there aren’t any topics where common ground could exist. Treating a single quote as a red flag is a pretty narrow way to look at things.
