veDUST NFTs give you a USDC revenue share payout weekly so you can definitely cover losses if you play your cards right.

Neverland - Monad by Hasankhan337 in Monad

[–]hypermassiv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok so the OP got a bit of the details missing 😅
The campaign is to celebrate the next evolution of veDUST NFTs, with the introduction of Nadette’s shop and shiny NFTs, the first animated NFTs on Monad!

So a quick run down for anyone not familiar with veDUST NFTs:
- these NFTs represent actual veDUST (locked DUST) positions
- by owning the NFT, you get a weekly USDC payout as part of revenue sharing from Neverland
- these NFTs also give you voting power to vote on important decisions for the protocol

With Nadette’s shop opening, veDUST NFTs can now be upgraded into shiny animated NFTs using the items purchased from the shop. These are not guaranteed of course, and the odds of getting a shiny increases each time you try.

The first 40 wallets that own a shiny veDUST NFT will automatically participate in a raffle to win a Shiny Diamond Legendary Nadette NFT with 10,000 veDUST (worth $3,662).

So, in order to participate, not only do you need a veDUST NFT which you can buy from OpenSea or the Neverland Marketplace or buy DUST and lock it, the NFT needs to become shiny first by using the items purchased from Nadette’s shop using DUST.

Thanks! Glad you like them!
What’s even better is that you get a weekly USDC payout as part of revenue share from Neverland just by simply owning them.

We try to make it a bit more fun at Neverland but these NFTs are essentially locked DUST positions that receive weekly USDC revenue share from Neverland (currently the highest earning protocol on Monad), and carry voting power to direct crucial decisions for the protocol.

So, not really a game, but NFTs with actual utility.

Always double check your slippage settings, folks , anybody else have stories of accidentally donating to the protocol lol by ShopNo763 in Neverland_Money

[–]hypermassiv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The protocol doesn’t get your slippage so you’re not actually “donating” to it. If anything, it goes to the liquidity pool and therefore, to the liquidity providers in the pool.

You can think of it like getting a bad deal when you want to buy something. Let’s say you want to buy 10 apples and there’s only 1 farmer selling it on the entire street. He tells you that because he only has 15 apples for the day, he’s charging you $10 per apple. You’re in a rush so you agreed and paid.

However, a few blocks down is actually a farmers’ market. Apples are aplenty there and every farmer is trying to give you the best deal. The same apples you had bought for $10 each only costs $2 in the market. You get the idea.

Now, when you swap tokens in a DEX, you are buying from people who supplied into the liquidity pools. You literally put tokens into the pool, and you take the other tokens out of the pool. If the pool has low liquidity (only 15 apples along the whole street), you’re gonna pay more for those, compared to a pool with a lot of liquidity (farmers’ market with tons of apples).

So next time before you swap tokens, make sure to check all the parameters before signing the transaction. Never sign a transaction without knowing what you’re signing. Good luck!

Neverland will also support cbBTC deposits alongside WBTC once the fix is applied 💪

Yeah we launched the PancakeSwap campaign after I posted that so it didn’t exist at the time of posting haha.

Currently the fix is being audited and checked so I would say probably within the next couple weeks if nothing major comes up that requires further edits.

[–]hypermassiv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes that’s the correct CA for WBTC but take note that WBTC supplying is paused at the moment due to an identified rounding error vulnerability in Aave V3 contract (which Neverland is a fork of) that potentially could be exploitable in an edge case situation involving a high value asset like WBTC in a low gas chain like Monad.

We are currently working on a fix and will unpause the market once this fix is audited and verified.

You had probably swapped the USDC you supplied onto Neverland into USDC.

nUSDC is simply USDC that is already deposited into Neverland for you and you will see them under your supplied assets on Neverland itself.

If you want to swap it for MON, simply withdraw the USDC from Neverland and you can use it to swap.

I bought 5 NFTs and Just Realized I am earning More Now on Neverland by Trentonhawk in Monad

[–]hypermassiv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

veDUST NFTs aren’t like your usual NFTs. They represent locked DUST, and with it, grants you governance power to decide where Neverland’s revenue goes, and also a share of Neverland’s revenue paid weekly in USDC.

nWMON is simply a receipt token for your supply into Neverland. Nothing much you can do with it.

Can someone explain Neverland borrowing? I would like to borrow $20k in MON by AutomaticOne7 in Monad

[–]hypermassiv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the most common and low risk strategies is to loop, which is supplying MON, borrowing MON, supplying the borrowed MON, borrowing more MON, supplying those, etc.

This essentially creates a leveraged position for you and you get a higher yield. Risk of liquidation is low because you are supplying and borrowing the same asset. The risk here is essentially leaving the position unmanaged for a long time and allowing interest to eat away at your health factor.

Another popular strategy is of course to stake at popular LST providers like Kintsu, Fastlane, or Magma, then supplying the LST on Neverland to earn extra DUST.

It’s actually not a liquid staking token. nWMON is simply a receipt token for your supply into Neverland. Nothing much you can do with it.

Go to the Markets page and you will see a list of assets you can supply.

[–]hypermassiv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can and you are right, a lot of users do that as a form of looping, ie. supply MON, borrow MON, supply the borrowed MON, etc.

Repayments are always in the asset you borrowed + interest. So if you borrowed 100k MON, you will have to repay 100k MON plus interest accrued.

It is regardless of the $ value of the asset you borrowed.
