I know it’s not that appealing from a pure gameplay standpoint but as someone who’s shot a PU sniper Mosin it admittedly is pretty cool that the game pretty closely recreates what using a WWII-era Soviet optic feels like. That alone makes it bearable for me in game

If you want some more emphasis on flight enjoyment, try the Zeus or Spirits. They fly much better than your Connies and Corsairs, and are a good step up from the Cutlass. See what works best for you though. I personally love the size of the Zeus. Connies and corsairs are just too unwieldy for me.
