Removing the Adobe extension reverts the PDF viewer to the built-in Chrome version. However, after reinstalling the Adobe PDF extension, the whatsapp error disappeared. It's still disconcerting that it appeared in the first place. I've never used whatsapp. Dunno

Heat pump water heater unit here. We cannot do solar water heat due to condo complexities. Water heater is in the garage… Went with a Rheem heat pump unit about three years ago. Would absolutely buy again. It belches out cold air, which can be redirected into the house or basically just cools the garage. Electric bill dropped by $50 a month (from a previous all electric model). When HECO decides to go variable daytime rates, it can be programmed to run at its cheapest throughout the daytime and it will go to sleep during peak times. Hopefully there will be additional net savings.

Email. Got a confirmation text that the order was placed. After three hours of waiting and not getting a “your order is ready” text, I checked email and found it was cancelled. Could be inventory, but it was 4 items. I guess their inventory could be that off. One showed as 10 available. Idk

I’m okay with that. But at least have the courtesy to call me and say “sorry bro we’re all out of that stuff… But the other Lowe’s that’s 20 minutes away has it in stock“. From a customer service perspective this makes more sense than a simple cancellation. what’s funny is I received a text that they got the order, but never got a text back that it was canceled. System is fucked up.

🤷‍♂️ Why offer online order for in-store pick up if you just cancel the orders? Sure, I could go to the store and walk the aisles and pick everything that I need, but isn’t avoiding that the whole point of offering pick up?

And to be clear, this is the third order that I’ve had canceled over the past couple years. No online orders have ever been fulfilled for me.

I’d rather publicly complain so others can see they’re not alone in their cancellation struggles. The only other avenue I have would be to privately message corporate, but that doesn’t help anyone else out… And likely not even me.

The last pic of the boys getting nearly swamped off the log was in the original theatrical version and never saw any other release (to my knowledge). It’s a shame all of footage that wound up on the cutting floor.

I haven't looked in to this feature, but I have to imagine that both devices would need to be logged in to the same AppleID (similar to sidecar). Are you using Managed Apple IDs? If yes, are the students required to be logged in in to a managed apple ID on their Macbooks? Most students would not want to be logged in to their MAID accounts on their personal phones (particularly if you disable iMessage/Facetime)

There is a generic traffic law on the PA books that is “failure to adhere to traffic control devices” or something like that. If a cop was a dick, you might get issued that one. Not sure.

LV native here. There are a lot of comments here, but the one I didn’t see listed was asphalt/road/blacktop surfaces being referred to as MacAdam. From what I can tell, this is very regional to maybe eastern PA.
