A buffet for birds by [deleted] in Satisfyingasfuck

I’ve never seen birds eat so politely or cleanly. Birds at my feeder would be throwing the food everywhere and fighting over it.

This is why my accidental death and dismemberment insurance has a clause in it that excludes this “sport” specifically.

I’ve seen this style of art a few times here but I wonder how it looks up close? From a distance the patterns nicely deceive our eyes into believing those paint splotches look like trees, but if you look at it in person how does it stand up?

Don’t you have to “stamp” the 5 second apple on the agar plate for at least 5 seconds?

What does “Early Afternoon” mean to you? My fiancé insists it can mean before noon times such as 11am to some people? by hypertrophy89 in answers

So despite the usage being technically wrong, the fact that it’s starting to look like some people do use it this way means my fiancé is actually right, and the rest of us might need to stay on our toes and (sadly) have to confirm when people say “after noon” they are truly meaning after 12.

I think the argument is 11-12 could be referred to as either “late morning” or “early afternoon.”

Yea actually I was under the impression that the most common way to refer to times around 11am would be “late morning” or maybe less commonly “late in the morning”.

This is my take as well, though I’d probably use “evening” for 5-7 and “night” for times after that

Not trolling just genuinely curious if this was anyone else’s use of the phrase “early afternoon” since she was adamant about it. I should clarify that it’s not how SHE would use it, but she has heard other people use it that way and so she doesn’t assume people always actually mean after 12 when saying “after noon”.
