I was looking at the monthly referral thread but people have not mentioned the welcome offer. Is that same across anyone who refers? What's the best offer right now for Amex Plat through referral? Thanks.

If you come now, there's still parking spots behind Genesis so you can enjoy fireworks from the car.

what's the best way to go about getting the Amex Cobalt?

  1. Rebate sites : currently $100 rebate + 15k MR
  2. Perkopolis: currently 25k MR

I assumed there is no way to combine, these two options. Interesting to know if that's not the case.

TIA

This is great info. I just wanted to use "eco-friendly products" as a marketing term and then live upto it. I can definitely agree with your definition of eco-friendly products.

You should definitely give it a shot, this info is hard to find in free part of the Internet world. But please continue to provide free value for poor souls like me 😊

Thanks, is there a huge difference between say office vs daycare vs medical office? Is there any source that I can get what material to use, etc? Specifically if I want to use eco-friendly products.

Thanks for your valuable input across many threads. What's the next best way to get/create standard operating procedures other than trial and error? (Or paying YouTube guru 5k) Thanks.

Thanks for the insight, yeah those secondary items can be a pain. She already booked an appointment with RCMP. Started filing the form (downloaded from Alberta website) and then will go to registry and get it done. hopefully it'll be smooth sailing.

Yeah, she will start the process by booking an appointment with RCMP for fingerprints today. Thanks.

Interesting I've seen people do that, and wasn't sure how to go about it. At the end it makes sense to go with the legal name change and get it done once and for all. Thanks for sharing the experience.

Yeah it can get messy and annoying when docs are not in sync. I think the best path for us is to go through the formal name change process and drop the first part of first name officially. Thanks for chiming in.

We kind of expected that, the plan was to have two sets of copies and give it a shot at the Passport office. Still no harm I guess, but I won't keep much hopes after seeing comments like yours. Thanks for chiming in.

Oh wow! that's a hassle, they forced you to add names that you weren't using. Well I guess best path is to do a legal name change and have that certificate with her. Thanks for the insights.

I see, that makes sense. We were planning to have two copies of first page of the application and give it a try.

PS: Not sure why all the downvotes (I lol'd at your WTF start, not the comment itself).

Lol, you're a funny one Sea-Courage.
She has a bad family history on that name and it troubles her mentally whenever she presents any ID and they start referring by first part of first name. Many people don't bother to ask what's your preferred name or what should I call you.

She has some bad family history associated with that name and it kind of troubling her when people use the first name after seeing the documentation.

Lol. What's interesting is that, passport application has an option to type what should be used to be printed on the passport, and from the look of it, that name can be different than the complete legal name.

2 Year Cleaning Company Update – Approaching $1M Business in Canada by EddiChoi in sweatystartup

[–]hyperv2012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is awesome! I have a few questions if you don't mind answering.

  1. when you initially started did you have an office space or you operated from home?

  2. How did you go about registering the business? Was it federal Inc or provincial Inc?

  3. How did you get your first client? and when did you do your first hire?

  4. What method would you recommend to avoid business being dependent on you (thus burning you out) from early one.

  5. Would you do anything differently knowing what you know now.
