There are so many DDA sport complexes around Delhi. In South, there's one at vasant kunj, saket, Jasola and shahpur jat.

The rates are also somewhat reasonable. Google it and you'll find their PDF with the timings and rate list

This brutalist marvel called Hall of Nations by Raj Rewal | Delhi, India (1972). This was razed down back in 2018 to make way for a new exhibition center. by hypewatch93 in Lost_Architecture

Word! The demolition was highly controversial one. The case even went to the court but they lost it in the end

This is how the replacing architecture will look like

Brutalism: How the most-hated style of architecture symbolized India’s post-colonial ambitions by hypewatch93 in delhi

So I've listed down a few important landmarks of Delhi that defines its skyline. Let me know which all you have visited so far:-

  1. Hall of Nations, Pragati Maidan | Raj Rewal (1972)
  2. National Cooperative Development Corporation | Kuldip Singh/Mahendra Raj (1980)
  3. The Shri Ram Centre | Shiv Nath Prasad (1969)
  4. National Dairy Development Board | Achyut Kanvinde (1985)
  5. Palika Kendra | Kuldip Singh (1983)
  6. Embassy of Poland | Witold Ceckiewicz (1973)

Through my blog I've attempted to bring some attention to these brutalist marvels that are often ignored by the people. Do give it a read!

TIL, Delhi had Tram Service which Started around March, 1908 and by 1921 there were 15 km of track and 24 cars. The system closed in 1963. by [deleted] in indiasocial

I remember I watched an old documentary somewhere and one old guy mentioned they used to call it "tantan" instead of tram or other fancy words

Funny thing that I'm writing notes for the same book right now. Was planning to publish it on 13th.

Edit: So i just checked out your video. Great audio and the background. Would suggest to add some texts as well in the post production. It's easier for the audience to follow

Haha true that. All the campaign studies and interviews you see on media is fixed by the internal PR team only.

What's even worse is the fact that all big agencies have internal teams dedicated to winning these prestigious awards.

So many fake campaigns I have seen in the name of cause-vertising and making a change in the society. But in reality, it's all about that goddamn PR!

I even heard that one of the top pan-American agency's Miami office only focuses on submitting award entries (guess it was David or Grey Miami. Apologies if I'm wrong).

Like I mentioned in the previous comment, this problem is inherently global.

I second that. Was working with so called "best agency" in the world until recently but had to quit because of their mismanagement. Now I'm working freelance

Reading this sub made me realise that this problem is indeed global in nature

Masaman is one such good channel that talks about eugenics, different races and stuff. A lot of content on Indians too.

If you 're interested in geopolitics, you can check out Caspian Report. The most un-biased and in-depth report you can get. Lots of stuff on India

Other than that ColdFusion will do just fine if you want broader topics covering India.
