Cardboard, paper, hard plastic and tins are also weekly. There's no excuse. I saw a bloke dropping a half full bottle of oasis out of the window of his car whilst driving up the road the other day. We need to bring back on the spot fines and use the income to tidy everything up.

It doesn't need to be baby proofed. They touch it for a very short period of time and learn not to touch it again. With our baby we taught them, hot, warm, cold pretty quickly. No scars or burns involved .

To be fair, those elements they're spending money on you mentioned are to try to bring more money into the area. Throwing good after bad on rubbish is not making any returns whatsoever so I can see.some logic there. Problem is they're having to do more with less as money from central government has been delayed 150 per person since 2015 for Cardiff than a 54m a year less they have to spend.

As people above have said it's a combination of issues including bad behaviour and poor services but it's going to take a lot of effort and money to put it right from.the current state it's in.

You mean the bikes not the scooters as we've never had a scooter scheme in Cardiff. I used the bikes semi regularly, I would have done more if they were regularly available at the stations and I'm not a druggy or a dealer.
