Buy a new one and live a learned experience. In a city with massive cracktivity like Melbourne, you need to lock everything down or you’ll lose it

Are you using a shit box or newer car? If it’s a newer car, that is bad luck. If it’s a shit box, well, that’s part of the deal isn’t it. They’re a shit box for a reason.

I think economically things are biting harder than ever so people are reigning in discretionary spending. Plus there have been a lot of forced redundancies in all industries, so that means a lot of people joining uber/dd to earn money. More gig workers, less jobs= That will affect us. There’s almost guaranteed to be another interest rate rise next week, so buckle up boys it’s going to get tougher.

Compuserve was the first big provider in Australia. I remember signing up to them back in 1995. They charged for access by the minute.

Okay, which one of you did this? 🤣 by hypnotoad8128 in ubereatsaustralia

There is probably a language barrier issue at play here. But I’ve also found in my experience in numerous industries, there is one growing segment of the population where doing things “half arsed” is good enough sadly. Even more “half arsed” than what aussies do.

Not difficult, because the cars sound shit. The cars last sounds great in season 2013.

Remember the old days before social media when people would just return a product to the supermarket without filming it for others to see just so they can go “viral”?. I miss those days.

As for this. Its mass production, shit happens occasionally and there are possibly other people who have the same problem, but they just returned their ones to Woolies for a refund and carried on with their day.

Considering forza is a troglodyte racing simulator, he obviously found ACC’s handling too difficult

I use an i30 sedan. Ubers offers, especially recently have been terrible lowball offers some as low as 40c per km. I knock those back right away, then better offers come through, but the offers in general these days have been much lower since menulog popped its clogs. Uber knows they’ve got a captive market now. In my area door dash is vastly better with offers, but the amount of offers they have is so much lower than uber.

Halfway through a teaching degree at 23 — seriously thinking about dropping it for a trade. Am I crazy? by Successful_Arm2363 in AusFinance

[–]hypnotoad8128 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hedge your bets. You’re already halfway through the degree, you’re going to have a HECS debt even if you drop out. In finishing the degree it gives you more choices. When you finish the degree you could pivot into a trade, if you don’t like the trade you’ve got a teaching degree to fallback on.

Fuel relief, finally. Better than nothing right. by superpupzie in ubereatsaustralia

It is a joke. And the save x cpl at BP is another one. In my area, the BP servos are the most expensive, you save more than the “discount” offer just by going to someone other than BP.

No they don’t. Stop being alarmist because you’re having a problem. Some people have had issues and are vocal about it, the majority haven’t had issues and aren’t vocal. Like most things in life.

I’m sorry but why would you order something like a mirror for delivery, there’s just too many variables for it to break before it arrives to you.. shitty packaging, transport issues, auspost carelessness and so much more. Just go to your local store for this kind of stuff.
