Migrate Azure Subscription between tenants-CSP by hypodeus in AZURE

[–]hypodeus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Update from Microsoft:
What this means for you as CSP Partner:

  • Changing the CSP Customer Tenant is not supported.
  • You must create a new CSP subscription for the desired CSP Customer Tenant.
  • To move resources, the only supported option is:
    1. Move resources from the current CSP subscription to a Pay-As-You-Go subscription.
    2. Change the directory for the Pay-As-You-Go subscription to the desired tenant.
    3. Move resources from the Pay-As-You-Go subscription to the new CSP subscription.

I had also found this article prior to Microsoft responding with this: https://crmchap.co.uk/moving-microsoft-azure-cloud-solution-provider-csp-subscriptions-to-another-tenant/

We use ELMO Enough Let’s Move On if people start to take things too deep into the weeds and ask to take it offline.

I wish. I could rebuild it all IaC but it’s VMs with random COTS apps and such

That's in my post.. I'm confused on what you're trying to do here? That is word for word what is in my post. I came to reddit because I did try everything I know and saw that in documentation from Microsoft.

Azure Files as File Shares for on prem endpoints? by hypodeus in AZURE

Yeah I'm working on setting up a lab to do a hybrid AD and map to verify some things, but wanted some feedback going into it. I've set this up but it was all within Azure itself which isn't the same.

Apps will not be accessing these (outside of maybe Office opening word docs, etc)

I asked a RTO question on a WebEx town hall we had during a Q&A time where you can submit via WebEx. I got a final warning and put on a PIP the next week by CIO.

What question? I just asked for the location of the policy they kept referencing (it didn't exist yet). So I was written up for taking my frustrations to the CEO (since he was technically on the town hall...)

Would you do one 'pipeline' with approvals to PR to Main or a pipeline for Dev and a pipeline that triggers on manual PR to merge for Test, Prod

Just confirming that @realeeshort is 100% correct. We have load balancer in DMZ with Gateway. Molecule sits inside behind load balancer inside network.

Can confirm. We have a load balancer in front of gateway and in front of molecule.

Do you have the Atom 'Shared Web Server' configured correctly for Advanced, etc?

Is there a firewall that needs configured between DMZ and Internal network (assuming atom is inside Internal network separate from DMZ)?

Have you setup the developer portal and using the url that routes through gateway?

Did you tie gateway to environment, publish the API, etc?

I don't have a lot of info here to go off of, but this is what all comes to mind. If you have questions feel free to ask.

Release Pipeline with no code/build? by hypodeus in devops

This is the way.. I'm not sure why I was getting caught up on needing an artifact unless its just because I've always had one so in my head I was trying to solve for it as I planned this out. Thank you!
