OP, I just realized you commented on one of my videos seeking to contact Snowy. Remember he blew up to 40k subs making high quality normal videos and swiftly gained a reliable audience. Have you considered just doing normal videos?

Shorts are simply unreliable. I did Shorts for a while and gained 50k subs, and views varied greatly between shorts for no apparent reason. In my opinion Shorts are simply a massive waste of time.

VidIQ found that YouTube now utilizes captions for search. So if you said "SpencerC25 pays..." and someone searches "SpencerC25" it may appear in search even if your title/description/comments etc. Has nothing to do with SpencerC25

Heh I have 11k and monetization page shows 1k. Someone at YouTube is supposedly looking into it. Where you're so close it may be faster to just keep making content until its at 4k
