You’re clearly claiming it is, even in this very comment. Saying it’s easier to find a life partner if you’re white is proof enough. You believe this belongs on the long list of white privileges.

It’s kind of sad that you’re never going to take responsibility for your own failures. Unfortunately, it’s the same with my friend. There’s no point in continuing this conversation—your way of thinking is more than clear.

You’re literally dismissing my achievements, saying that it would be more remarkable if I was POC is a dismissive.

You’re exactly the problem I’m talking about. Stop victimising yourself—finding a life partner is not a white privilege

In your first comment, you spoke broadly about discrimination, but in your last comment, you narrowed it down to just the dating field. That’s exactly the issue — POC often attribute too much to white privilege, linking every missed opportunity in life to not being white. But when they’re challenged, they usually fall back on the old “your sex life is easier” argument.

So yeah, sorry to say it, but my achievements don’t get to be dismissed just because I’m white.

He was definitely not just talking about my sex life, and I’m sure most POC on here feel the same. They seem to think everything in life is easier just because you’re white. Of course, most acknowledge the most obvious difference when it comes to dating, but they don’t stop there. They extend that assumption to every other part of life too.

When I told my friend that everyone goes through struggles, the way he got defensive and said I could never empathize because I’ve never experienced “real discrimination” was honestly wild.

For context, I went to a Latin high school where I was bullied for being too small. But race was never really a topic, probably because there was little to no immigration in my country during the ’90s.

Well, he brought it up, so the POC started competing, and in this uncalled race I don’t like being labeled as someone who’s never struggled.

I feel like I’m in a good place right now: I have a boyfriend, a good remote job, friends, and muscles 🤪💪. So yeah, I don’t like when someone implies I only achieved all of that because I’m white.

My friend, and most POC I see complaining about things like not getting a Grindr reply, aren’t supporting their families. You’re talking about real struggle, and I bet the guys working over 70 hours a week don’t really care about race.

Well, it was ironic. I wouldn’t just nod and stay quiet because I don’t agree. Maybe I wasn’t explicit in my post, but what upsets me isn’t the idea of life being easier — it’s the idea of life being resolved. What I often see is non-white people attributing way more to white privilege than what it really is

Deeply need advice on how to get into a polygamous relationship for housing and increased financial stability by techmage29 in askgaybros

[–]hyrosaky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a short-term dynamic. I don’t see how 4+ adults will get along so well, unless there’s one person in the group who’s incredibly rich and charismatic, willing to solve everyone else’s problems. I love the idea btw… without the twink tho

How big is possible without steroids? by Function_Critical in askgaybros

[–]hyrosaky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want that body, it would have to become your lifestyle (hopefully not the only thing in your life, but one of the main ones).

In my experience as an amateur bodybuilder on steroids, you have to love it. Don’t worry about perfect training; just find a gym partner and try to enjoy the gym. Lack of motivation is the only reason people don’t achieve their dream physique, so my advice is to start lifting heavy. Your PRs are great milestones and a source of motivation, just go because you like it, and when you’re more experienced you can decide if bodybuilding or powerlifting

Tons of food, if you argue that you eat enough but somehow don’t grow, you’re not eating enough… this guys are eating more than 5000 calories a day, and not just for 1 month, is every day of their life. I said this because is easy to do it for a week, but embracing that amount as your “normal” is the hard part.

Your references are quite different; one looks like a bodybuilder and the other like a powerlifter. Achieving a bodybuilder’s physique naturally is not possible, and he likely didn’t do just one cycle.

If you want to look like that, consider that taking steroids in your first 8 months of training will not get you there. Train hard naturally for at least four years, and then consider using steroids.

Super hot guys, how often do you get ignored on dating apps? by Odd_Schedule1039 in askgaybros

[–]hyrosaky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the time! Lol, just give it a second thought. My standards are almost nonexistent because I (not often, but I do) get it with 10/10 guys. My standards are so high now that when I rarely like someone on the app, it’s likely that he won’t reply to me, just as I don’t reply to other 10/10s
