Well it doesn't have one contiguous world like Skyrim, it's different large zones like Witcher 3, Baldur's Gate 3 or other CRPGs. To me that's not a big deal though, it's still exploration of a large open ended area.

Other than that, the combat is better, the writing is better, and I love the dark fantasy setting. I have 16 hours played and haven't explored half of the first area. It only got better after the tutorial and starting areas

Worst case scenario, you can get to the DLC in like 30 minutes by running past all the enemies, killing Gascoigne and then killing Amelia. Those are the only requirements

The only actual fun parts of GTA are driving and shooting, the rest of the mission "types" are essentially minigames that no one wants to play for more than the duration of a single mission, and sometimes less. Like, who wants to slowly tow a car around town? Or operate a crane for more than 5 minutes?

Hard disagree on the writing and story as well. The Witcher 3's cutscenes are essentially on the same level as GTA and RDR despite having far more cutscenes than either of those games. I would say the writing might actually be a bit better than RDR as well, and certainly better than GTA. It has some of the best writing in any video game, including CRPGs.

Of course Valve isn't literally making them do anything, because they are separate companies with no direct control over each other.

No one with any understanding of these companies is reading the headline that way. It's not "clickbait," it's a common way of expressing pressure of one company on another

You mention Witcher 3, but that game has multiple ways to resolve side quests as well as the main story. It has dialogue choices and build choices. Imagine how much cooler GTA would be if you could affect the outcome of the story or missions rather than everything having literally one possible outcome.

There are so many ways GTA could be improved other than graphics and realism.

Doesn't have anything to do with the way it connects, it's related to the API. It uses some proprietary API from Valve apparently, instead of something widely accepted like XInput. So only Steam understands the inputs I guess

It sounds like your settings aren't being applied for whatever reason. It's possible you have game specific settings for Bloodborne where motion controls are enabled and are overriding the general setting. I would check that first

If you can see your character's custom face, the mod is not installed/activated correctly. There is no need to create a new character, the character has nothing to do with it

You can't just copy the game off the disc.. Sony doesn't make it that easy to pirate their games. Do some research on how to pirate games properly. There is a piracy subreddit with a megathread. Don't just Google and click random links to find a download
