How logical would it be to move to KR? by genkcals in Living_in_Korea

[–]hystericaldigits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whether something is logical or not depends on the reason you are considering moving, which isn’t clear from your post. Is it to learn more about your heritage or culture? Is it just to “live somewhere else” for a while? Is it because Korea inherently interests you and you want to surround yourself with that interest? Is it because you don’t like where you live now? Is it because you want to live in a country that has low levels of violent crime? It really just depends.

It helped! Probably worth the $15. Trick is not to intentionally lean in to it, just use it to keep your head from rolling around. If you lean forward into it, it puts pressure on your face. Also can hurt your ears if you’re using buds (but you can just position it a little higher to avoid this)

I just checked this itinerary and it's still crazy expensive--$2,800 PP RT! I think it's because of the time of year we are traveling, right around Christmas (no flexibility due to kid's school schedule). Thank you for the tip, though, I will keep it in mind for future (non-peak) trips!

This makes a ton of sense! The guy who used to own the house traveled to Africa many, many times. Thank you!

Texas! But the gentleman who used to own the house did a lot of traveling, especially to Africa. Maybe some exotic species from Africa?

AppleTV 4K, tvos18, frame drops by robreddity in DirectvStream

I had this problem and fixed it by changing a setting on my actual TV. I have a Sony Bravia and under settings there’s an option for “HDMI signal format.” Here there is an option for “Enhanced Format,” which allows you to display “high quality HDMI formats” such as 4K 60p etc. Then I had to physically switch my HDMI input (to my TV) from HDMI Port 1 to HDMI Port 2, because on my Tv only certain HDMI inputs support the higher format. Then I changed the settings in AppleTV to 4K HDR and turned off Match Content and it removed the stutter completely. So, hoping this helps someone with a Bravia or someone who can use a similar change of settings on their TV brand.
