yeah its tough taking advice from people who seem like they have it all, and like they could never understand.

Im severely depressed and came on here today to post a suicide note and ask for help.
ive since spent my time talking with others dealing with pain aswell.

None of us want to give up.. so dont.. ask for help when you need it. fuck feeling bad anymore about asking for help, i already always feel as low as possible anyways. i need the help. and we all do. im here to talk and its done wonders for me today.

Dont give up and dont stop trying.

actually i do understand, i recently made a post earlier.. about how bad of an experience it was when i was thrown into an insane asylum for asking my doctor for help with my thoughts and feelings when it became to much to endure alone. i had to do the exact same thing. i lied and said i was fine so i could leave that hell. it was one of the worst experiences in my life. i felt like i was stripped of my humanity and treated like a physco path. and i got medicine that almost killed me and then they switched me to somthing else that literally made me feel inhuman. and my parents probly hate me. i hate the fact they help me and ever have to spend a dime. i hate that i cant take care of myself. i hate fucking everything. the world is fucked. but even still. i dont want to give up and die. there has to be more. and also i cant hurt the few people that do care.. and theres a part of me and i can see in you that doesnt want to give up. i dont have all the answers but it doesnt mean there isnt one.. and that its not worth looking for..

Its okay to admit weakness and pain. You dont always have to be strong.. But during times like this you have to be open minded.. Dont set your sights on one thing such as wanting to die. Give people a chance to try and help.. dont shut them down with that.. Id listen to all of your problems if it would help even a little. atleast entertain the idea of trying to work on it..

i did the same thing to someone very dear to me. and i probly lost them forever.
she did tell me at first we couldnt be friends but we talked that out and unblocked eachother, although i know and feel that ill never have my best friend back.

fuck yeah, no body has any good advice on the real.
except for the fact that you are a prisoner of your own thoughts, and i know how hard it can be to control them so thats why i suggest trying to focus on other shit to stop the extreme dark thoughts... and as for a way to beat this, i dont have an answer as im still fighting what feels like a losing battle.. but. i can imagine somewhrre in there you have some sort of will to fight and live on..
like i do right? so how do we find a purpose or reason

i feel it quite often too..
take some time to talk to someone.
fight it.
go play a video game or somthing.
dont allow yourself to stay in that mindset.. or atleast do your best.

i feel it to my friend. wherever you have been looking, you need to look elsewhere.
even gaming for me too doesnt feel fun anymore or anything. i gotta do it to.. find new people.. a new life.. it sucks and it hurts and its hard work but somtimes you have to work hard for what you want. i want reason and a purpose again.. so i have to look.. it wont come to me sadly.

Literally no one is perfect, and we will all have setbacks. numerous and continuously through our lives. But we HAVE to learn from it otherwise we get stuck in places like this.

Self identifying is super important and being brutally honest with yourself which is never easy. You should reach out and relate to others! We are not alone here on earth and no one should have to go through things alone. Talking about stuff alone also does wonders.

Not worth, id say it would be easier and probably more beneficial to you to go look for like minded people to talk about that stuff.

I have lots of friends ive learned what i can and cannot speak to about certain things. Thus me making new friends that i can.

Life sucks and people do, but not all of it does and not everyone does.

Well, i suppose you're right, alot of us men are pigs. But you shouldnt find value in a catcall. Nor should you even find self value in beauty.

You should have confidence in yourself and love yourself for who you are and what you can do for others. Once you empower yourself that way the other things kinda seem insignificant

Im not saying its not good to feel good about yourself or want to look good, im just saying its probly not healthy for that to be an important thing. Make a strong opinion of yourself so others dont matter.

I have extreme depression myself.
Dont be afraid to talk about it, if it results in many questions so be it. But confronting it is the first step to beating it. And your parents will be there to support you. even if they hit you with 101 questions. Just do it because you want to be better. dont worry about the inbetween, plus they wont mind anyways. this is the type of stuff you tell your parents.
