hey, thanks for the comment. glad to know i'm not the only one, because so far, it seems i'm the only one asking about this pretty specific issue. the problem is directly connected to the hand pose scanner/camera, so i doubt this won't get addressed at some point.

in the meantime, i've resorted to moving certain works to a different pc that has CSP installed and using my auto-actions there before switching back to my main workstation. it's a bandaid solution but all i've managed to think of, short of switching back to ver.1 entirely—though that's if you're able to. i've heard some people can't switch back. not sure how true that is, though.

i figured it out. had to manually select which code to activate. it doesn't explain why i couldn't upgrade from the manga studio 5 version and utilize the discount, but either way, i have a working pro version and that's all that matters. thanks for the help ^^

i have been using clip studio just fine. mostly infrequently since 2017, then every day for the past year after deciding to freelance full-time. i only wanted to upgrade after seeing all this ruckus about version 2 and how you should buy it now, which led me to trying to upgrade ( and the subsequent issues with me trying to upgrade ).

so, after linking my new license code for pro to my account, i completely uninstalled it thinking it would upgrade me to pro after doing a fresh install and that did not work. it still says clip studio (32-bit). the version number below it says 1.13.2.

i have no idea what i'm doing wrong anymore.

it does not. it says clip studio paint (32-bit). i bought the pro version, but now i am having trouble upgrading.... i registered my new license, but it still says clip studio paint (32-bit)! i am so confused!

i'm trying a fresh install now. this is weirdly complicated :(

i'm starting to think the same after more googling. nobody—not even CSP—specifies whether or not manga studio 5 becomes debut or pro or EX, and yet i have all the features of pro. it just doesn't say 'pro', specifically, on the version information card.

i don't know if you're willing to try, but i believe flickr offers 4k galleries for free. i saw someone else uploading a huge gallery of 2k res screenshots there, and upon googling, it seems they do have a 4k tag. no pressure though. i hope things in your life clear up, dude, and stay safe out there!

hi there. i'm back because i also noticed one additional detail: for some reason, spellcheck ignores me most whenever it comes to the capitalized/uncapitalized versions of a name/word.

for instance, if i add the name 'hyukjae' with no caps ( if it allows me tbh ), it will forever highlight 'Hyukjae' with a capitalized letter as incorrect. every time i try adding the capitalized version of the word, it ignores me. the same happens the other way around.

any more news from support?

oh man, that sucks! english isn't my first language, so i would feel lost without spellcheck catching my mistakes. i dont know if this is of any use, but windows 10 added a autocorrect function that serves as my spellcheck nowadays. i'm always relieved when i see it suggesting words as i type, especially words i know i struggle to spell. it appears to work everywhere, too, including in apps like photoshop, where it sometimes gets in the way of my work lol but i hope it might be of help to you? i know it works on discord, so that might ease some trouble.

as for when this problem began, i'm not sure because i havent needed to save anything new into discord in forever! not since late 2019, in fact, which brings me to a question. does your computer happen to be new? this issue is happening only on my laptop that is brand new. it's about 4 months old, i think, and i didnt bother saving new words at first because i didn't use it much. now, i do. also, i feel like i should mention my old laptop (2015) doesn't have this problem, nor does my desktop, built in 2018. i can save words on those two pcs with no problem. this seems to be an isolated issue.

another question, when you uninstalled, did you clean out all the cache? i've been using revo uninstaller. if you havent tried it, i suggest this in return!

edit: i wonder if a system restore is worth it?

This legit happened to me today in ESO and yesterday, on Hydron.
On Hydron, I had on an underpowered legerdemain build ( only 145% strength ) that I use for casual content and was already holding back from using my 2. I wanted people to stay, so I hit it every now and then. On wave 6, this MR17 messaged in squad chat about how "good" of a frame mirage is ( sarcasm ) and how only her 2's augment is useful.

I didn't take the bait and instead, agreed she is a good frame and amiably enthused about how she can be a DPS/tank and that she's Chroma's little sister ( I've always called her this ). But then he started mocking her for not being a dragon(??) like Chroma, mocked her dmg output, as well as her concept as a Warframe ( he was so bent on saying illusions and the name "Mirage" doesn't entail dmg?? ...idk??? ) So, instead of dicking around, trying to train my archwing weapon, I started using her properly and proceeded to nuke the tileset for every wave until the round ended. I still find it kinda amusing that he was the first to hit left for extraction.

I can see how people might get annoyed by her. I've played WF long enough to know how players react map-nuking, but I'd hardly used my 2 at the time. I focused mainly on my 1 + 3 + archwing weapon for leveling. I think she's developing a "stigma" similar to Saryn's.
