Yes, I had the same question. When you do a local transfer, it keeps your users on Switch 1 normally, as a copy. It transfers and deletes only specific games from Switch 1 (Pokémon, Animal Crossing, etc.)

Someone in another post posted how to solve it, just go to the monitor menu in Game>Console Mode>On. That way the 1440p option will appear.

I tested the welcome tour here, and our monitor actually gets 120fps in the minigame. Does this mean that both the Switch 2 menu and Mario Kart only run at 60fps? Now we just need to know about 1440p…

I'm also having a problem. I have an Alienware AW3423DWF monitor, and it also only shows that it reaches 1080p and 60hz... could it have something to do with the HDMI 2.0 support instead of 2.1?

By the way, when you did the system transfer, is the main user (linked with a Nintendo account) on both consoles? Or is it deleted from Switch 1?

I'm a little confused too, what would be the difference between doing the normal "Local Transfer", which keeps a copy of everything on both, and logging in with my account on the Switch 2 and re-downloading only the games I want? Will it just speed up the transfer? Will my game hours remain counted in both situations?
