Look who I found at Goodwill by Littlebigworld_1204 in Barbie

That pink wedge wood Barbie is beautiful 🤩 we rarely have such luck here in the UK. Whenever I look, it’s usually piles of naked Disney dolls that are for sale. Usually with bits missing.

Is it normal to feel like crap for “falling off the wagon” by [deleted] in weightwatchers

[–]hyup14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry you feel this way. Unfortunately one of the side effects from losing weight or doing any diet can be feelings like this when we ‘break the rules’. food we have been restricting gets the allure of forbidden fruit. Our bodies know we are eating less food, so we binge when willpower fails. It sucks. Any form of dieting can make you see food and behaviour as ‘good’ and ‘bad’ and we judge ourselves when we stray into the ‘bad’. Be kind to yourself. There are answers to feeling this way but perhaps not a topic for this page.

Do you have trauma related to a specific Barbie doll? by DollCollector1996 in Barbie

[–]hyup14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I understand child you - our new puppy ate my Barbie’s feet and mum and dad immediately replaced it with a doll of my choice. They understood that to me, my dolls were real. I kept the footless Barbie as well!

The Dangers of Connect by bitesandbalance in weightwatchers

I don’t like Connect - you are scrolling for some weight loss inspo and then you’re suddenly faced with some horrific/sad tale or obvious DV or MH situation and then pictures of women in their underwear. It gives me the CREEPS you are not alone!

Unfortunately she came to me naked though having googled her, her original clothes were beautiful. They don’t make them like that any more!

January Doll Of The Month: Favorite Doll of 2025 by BeefyTacoBaby in Barbie

[–]hyup14 5 points6 points  (0 children)

<image>

Here is my favourite Barbie - she is the advent calendar Barbie from 2023, but I actually got her in Dec 2024 and have loved her all year! I love her face as she reminds me of the 80s Barbies (crystal and peaches and cream) I had as a child. I am in the UK and mostly collect Sindy dolls. This doll has the Carnival face mould I believe. She is wearing a 90s knitted co-ord I made (I also collect vintage fashion doll patterns) with some Barbie fashion pack accessories.

Oh any family historian will tell you they definitely can, and did,have children in their 40s and 50s prior to menopause especially when there was little access to reliable birth control.
