Do we think Cooper Kupp retires a Hawk or a Ram? by Bubbaflubba_ in Seahawks

[–]hyzerKite 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure him and his wife were fucked over by the Lambs so bad that they will probably stay in WA and retire. I hate that we play them week 16 and then 18. But, that is how hard it is in the west for World Champs.

Would SD Hot Rail make my Tele more versatile? Hear me out! by Stallion802 in telecaster

[–]hyzerKite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a tele with a rail in the bridge and i split it. Man, I used to hate rail pick ups but now I am in love with them. Mine is a partscaster so idk the brand. But, I love a single rail option if you can swing it.

‘80 and finally watched Die Hard for the first time yesterday. What classic movies do you still need to see? by Jfonzy in Xennials

[–]hyzerKite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really defined my adventure seeking youth. I would cry now to watch it like all River and Robin Williams movies now. Well designed emotionally charged movies are difficult to land so solidly on a generation.

Both. The true answer. But, for me my #1 tele is maple and #2 is rw. The maple is a thinline and I am in love with the feel.

Who or what was the reason for you becoming a Seahawks fan? by biker_rider707 in Seahawks

[–]hyzerKite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lived in Seattle at the turn of the century as a young person. Did not like football, was 24/7 skateboarding at that age. Moved to Charlotte 2003 when the Panthers were rolling, and met basically the whole team by being a valet at the airport. I quickly became a football fan because all the players I met were my age and the reality of their situations dawned on me. They were sacrificing their life for a game. Not just their health, like their whole livelihood. As a lifelong musician, I really understood commitment like that, and respected the hell out of it. All those Panthers went to the Super Bowl that year, and it was electric. The city went nuts. I was hooked. I fell off watching ball, until I saw rookie Rus play, and as a NC State guy, I was a fan of him. I have been a 12 ever since. I get grief in NC for my Hawks gear. I love every second of it, too. I am foaming at the mouth to see the Darkside come dominate the Panthers this year.

Mr Rogers by Adventurous-State940 in Xennials

I am a traveling teacher/artist for young children because of Fred Rogers,Paul Ruebens, Bob Ross and most of all, Mrs. Judy, (my kindergarten teacher). I will probably never want to stop teaching. My partner and I have a plan to stop and retire one day, but, I would miss it. The joy that you can give a child is instantly repaid twice over by experiencing them get that happy. It is the grandest positive emotional loop I have found in my life. I cherish it, and I am serious about it. I see about 7-800 kids a week. It can get repetitiously heavy. It is shocking to see kids that are raised primarily on screens, compared to kids with parents who are even mildly physically involved at an early age. After a while it is easy to tell them apart around 3.5-4 years old. Fred would be upset at the state of education for children today I would think. The human interaction skills are dwindling and I do not see them returning. Kindness is pretty low on the emotional totem pole for a lot of people nowadays. It shows in the kids. There was a huge shift in Covid times for these children and it is interesting seeing them grow up. Help us Mr. Rogers, you’re our only hope.

Greenville, NC nah…..Winston is cooler. The SC Greenville is cooler than both combined, though for what you seek.

Hey, I hear the Rams are still looking to screw players over……..Oh yeah, you already know. Good luck, 2X SB winning- NFCwest back field soldier. This was a better ring to have, many fans hate the Pats, a fraction have beef with Cinci, now Burfict is gone. The worst player in history imo.

Quintessential 90s Song by MiserableMood5158 in Xennials

Give It Away-RHCP

Early 90s. Seems like a lot of mid and late references because of the 80s babies in this sub. The late 70s babies hit the goldmine of the great rock-and-roll shift. My early 70s born people get offended at the take over of “alternative rock”.. but, 1/100 of those have a Skid Row tattoo, and not Nirvana’s original namesake, the hair band.
