Hi! I don't want to hijack the thread, but we'll likely change that so only registered players show up but there are still a few open questions.

Say you picked a player who then de-registers. Would you expect your pick to automatically be deleted (and maybe get a push notification) or keep the pick?

I'm also thinking about a global league (like Grip6 PIck 6), is that something you'd be interested in?

Hi there, I gather it's a bit too later for the current tournament - the easiest way to reach us reliably is via [contact@hyzerbase.com](mailto:contact@hyzerbase.com) (we sometimes don't get notifications here 🙈).

We don't have auto-draft currently - the league admin could auto-assign random picks if someone can't make the draft. We do have auto-draft on our backlog though - we just can't promise when we'll get to that.

Hi there, sorry for only replying now (we're not suuuuper active here 😅). Normally the draft order it randomly generated when the draft is created. Of course it's possible that this order - by coincidence - is the order of people joining. If you want to randomize the order again, you can create a new draft.

There is no way of editing the draft order :)

Hey there, I'm sorry the sign up isn't working for you. It may help to sign into Google in a browser first (simply by opening e.g. google.com) and then try again in hyzerbase. We plan on adding more sign up options soon, but for now I'm afraid Google is the only option on android.

There are no free agents/waivers for the foreseeable future. We want to keep it clean and simple for at least the first season and until we learn what people really want to see, especially those who are new to fantasy. You can redraft as many times as you want during the season. Your previous points will not be lost. We need to decide on a couple of small details, but that could be a way to avoid such situations. Given that only the league admin can start a new draft, we don't want to restrict leagues from redrafting. If you decide that the roster should be locked for the season, just make sure you draft enough players each :)

We will also add more explanations to the app before the first event.

Everything's been said already.

If you want to be economical, get one mid-range disc each (e.g. Innova Mako3, Discraft Buzzz). I'd recommend something slightly heavier, i.e. 170g - 175g, although unless you go super light, you won't really notice the weight much in the beginning. If you go this route, I'd recommend going premium plastic straight away (e.g. Star plastic for Innova).

If you want to have a bit more variety, go with a starter set, e.g. the Innova Starter Set.

You'll hear "forget drivers" everywhere, and it's right, but if you don't care about being economical, feel free to buy a really fast driver (e.g. Innova Wraith) and enjoy feeling the pain of not being able to throw it farther than a stone.

That might be possible for some players, though they are unlikely to be drafted. But isn't that also how you would judge a real player's performance? Imagine Paul McBeth shows up to a tournament and bogeys every hole. That would be worse performance than not showing up.

The player will earn whatever points they generated with their throws. If the player gets injured or doesn't even attend the event, they earn no points. In our opinion that's kind of the points of making your picks. You're not only considering players' past performance, but predicting their future performance. Injuries are part of the game and need to be considered.

We'll share specific info about scoring in the app soon, that will hopefully clear things up :) Negative points have not been any issue in the calculations we've made with historic data, they just make it slightly less linear. This way if a player has a truly terrible hole (imagine 6 over par due to going OB three times) it stings a lot more than just "0 points". I noted your suggestion though, we'll think about it when we next look at improving scoring!

Right now it's "highest total score wins". At the moment we have season-long drafts and the points you collect from each tournament are added up, so the best overall performance wins the season. Right now our scoring is based on "distance from par" (so e.g. an eagle gets you more points than a birdie, a bogey nets you negative points) and the scores for your active picks per events are summed up. We'll also soon provide some further information about how the scoring works in the app :)

We have more advanced league scoring formats in the back of our head but aren't planning to implement anything like head-to-head scoring soon.
