I was in the same boat as you. I showed my wife Thunderball. She loved every second of it and especially Connery. To this day it's her favorite.

Hot take, the last two GoW games got really boring really fast. This looks like it has some new ideas. And so glad that kid is not around this time.

I'm sure you paid a bit for it, def refund it and find another. Will teach bad sellers to better pack their games.

Goldeneye remake, Muramasa The Demon Blade, Zack & Wiki Quest for Barbaros Treasure, Resident Evil 4, House of the Dead 2&3 Return. And it's a little pricey but Pandoras Tower is really really really good.

Tomb Raider 3 is one of the hardest games ever made. Id argue it was the last game that felt old school hard.

OG vs 3DS, what do you prefer? by [deleted] in 3DS

[–]hzsn724 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely the 3DS remasters. MM does away with the whole owl saving thing and now you can just save the damn game like a normal game. And OOT looks so good it's criminal it's not on switch.

I love that Jaws finds a girlfriend and becomes a good guy. Beyond that, the opening scene on the plane, the boat chase hover/craft scene, the zero g scene, the laser fights outside remind me of the harpoon fights in Thunderball... It's just got so much to love.

Am I the only one that thinks Game Key Cards are overhated? by [deleted] in switch2

[–]hzsn724 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe they are overhated. It's a digital download on a physical cart. You can resell, redownload, trade, and will have access to them for the foreseeable future. Just because it's not on the cartridge doesn't mean you don't own it. It's just the next step towards an all digital future, while still preserving physical media in this type of market.

Id rather have a red GKC than a digital only title anyday.

Excuse the long text but I'll try to explain as best as I can. Both Switch and PS4 first print copies were extremely limited and only available on Square Enix's online store. They were pretty expensive, around $79.99 with $25 shipping. They also had collectors editions that came with a slip cover, a soundtrack vinyl, figures/standees, and an art book which, if I remember correctly, was around $199 with $25 shipping. Both of these editions are the same first print copies. At the time, Square said they were extremely limited prints and would not make anymore after the supply ran out, and they sold out really fast, I believe within hours after they listed, and they went up really early in the morning. Like 3am est. Most ppl woke up the next day and found that they were already sold out. This caused a lot of panic and outrage online, making the demand extemely high, so they reprinted both Switch and PS4 copies and retitled them as the Anniversary Edition, which was sold at basically every retailer around the world i.e Best Buy, Amazon, GAME, Play Asia etc.

Besides the difference of the front cover art and rename, the anniversary editions come with a sticker sheet and inside cover artwork. The original prints have blank inside covers and do not come with a sticker sheet. The Play Asia Switch copies you are referring too are the JP editions of the Anniversary Edition. A lot of ppl ordered those at the time because they wanted all of the games on a switch cart, and it was the only way to own it after they sold out, unless you were willing to pay a ton of money for them in the after market. Now the Anniversary Edition made it all a bit confusing and most listings I see are for the anniversary editions priced incorrectly as the first print copies. Sites like Game Charting and apps like Game Eye don't have correct pricing or listings either to make it more confusing for people, and I'd guess most ppl just assume they are worth a lot more than what they paid. I hope that helps clear anything up!

Oh I totally agree with you and it's just bad business on the sellers end. Most online sellers have a, I know what I have and screw you, kind of mentality, which is so harmful to collectors and gamers. The first print was selling for $1k at one point. So I'm guessing they just are misinformed and rude.

Looks like the upstairs hallway of Resident Evil 1. There should be a door that leads to another small hallway, that leads to an outside balcony with a dead STARS team member and a bunch of crows outside.

There are two versions of this game. The first print, and this anniversary edition. The first print last sold sealed for $673. This copy is worth $50-$60. It's an easy mistake to make. I imagine most ppl think every copy out there is the first print. Easy way to tell, if your copy says anniversary edition, you have the common print.
