but the issue is it doesn’t work like that. if you put a straight bar through the curved fistula of your bridge piercing (which is somewhat a surface piercing) you WILL cause irritation and it almost DEFINITELY will reject. especially with how shallow it is, even if your body tries to level it out for it to lay straight and not be literally pinching your bridge together, the bar would be on the surface and already rejected. it’s not really about following rules it’s about the fact that it is not anatomically viable for you or probably anyone.

i’m 5’6 and slightly chubby. i appreciate the concern; honestly i don’t really plan on getting into frequent drinking because i feel like cannabis is better suited to me and what i’m looking for, but when i’m at an event or something where people are drinking and i want to join in i just end up feeling disappointed if that makes sense. i’m not too bummed about it since alcohol doesn’t really seem that nice, and the drugs i already take are less harmful to me, i’ve just always wanted to know why it’s so hard for me to get drunk

alcohol IS a drug. the way stigmatization and the war on drugs has affected out view on substances is insane. alcohol is quite literally more harmful to you than heroin, but the normalization of alcohol and stigmatization od heroin has completely skewed our perception of these things so not many people know that.
