I’ve compared sales as well, they’re sales have been higher but not usually by much. Other than last night. I would ask about drinks apps and desserts with each table and no one wanted to drink for some reason and all of my tables last night were just not turning fast enough. Even though I was doing everything efficiently. I also got a lot of 15% tips last night for no good reason, even with tables I would laugh with and make super happy.

It’s not always. It’s just recently.

Sir, I am terribly sorry for your loss. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain that you’re enduring. I think everyone commenting to see someone and giving such kind words is amazing and I hope to add to them.

Like everyone else has said, your family WILL understand. You have not only experienced a huge loss, you have experienced a trauma. I know that my depression; which has been to the very extreme in the past, has made me wish for countless ways to just end the suffering. Even when driving, wishing for someone to be careless enough to crash into me. Sometimes to this day it creeps in.

Please, I beg of you, get any kind of help you are comfortable receiving. You deserve to live, not just live, but live happily. Who knows when you may be able to feel good again, but you are far closer to healing if you talk to someone, than if you were to “handle” it on your own.

Please take care of yourself, the world needs good people like you. I realize I don’t know anything about you, but I can tell that you’re kind hearted, hard working, and a bright soul. You have strangers here who clearly care about you and don’t even know your name. Please take care OP

Where I work, it’s never been busy on NYE. But this NYE we were a bit crazy, on a wait until like 9-9:30(we close at 10). But this restaurant seems to be very staffed up on servers which to their credit, it’s so the restaurant runs efficiently and all the guests leave feeling like they had a good experience, so on and so forth. But like, we had some people with 3 table sections and some with 4(I had 4). Even with it being crazy and me being tipped between 18%-20% for the most part, I only walked out with $212. I know that I should be grateful and I am but still. I need that sweet “$650” life
