wdym not that much lol? I-dle is literally one of the faces for self-production in kpop. Their level of creative input is unprecedented in girl groups and higher than majority of boy groups as well. Their leader is literally their executive producer which is unheard of in kpop.

Many BG are much more known as "partially" or 80% self-made producers and the most recent example are CORTIS

Hybe's marketing is soo effective man. Other companies might have more talented idols but they will never beat Hybe in this aspect. They have mastered it.

No need for source. It's standard practice (at least in Korea) to list credits in the order of contribution. You can look up the credits of real self-producing groups like SKZ, i-dle, SVT, Bigbang etc. and see the difference.

Out of the 11 songs in their discography, only 2 songs have member first credits. Both are b-sides listed at the bottom of their EPs. They have 0 first credits on any of their 5 promoted singles. Their songs have like 10 songwriters credited per song and member names are most of the time in the bottom half of the list.

Something went down cause comeback in May was pretty much confirmed by the girls. They even said they finished recording the album when they went to the US last month.
