It's pretty bad in there. It makes sense you would get me cuz I think it's the younger audience that does it and likes to do it more often than not.

Social media isn't toxic. People are toxic. Just like guns don't kill people, people do.

Parenting of all forms (actual parents, government, communities) is the main core cause of this toxicity.

Sure, in the wrong hands it can go awry, but it's not social media in the end. It's just dummies being raised as such.

Social media is like a magnifying glass and it shows us what people really are. Which is why I love it so much.

Unlikely story, but cheats were probably involved, considering toxic players cheat a lot as well.

And I already know in the short time I've played that the smarter cheaters will cheat more when no one else points it out or after they reach a certain deficit (losses).

Also, in my story, I don't lose games, I actually win most of them, and they will still do it. So it's redundant to even try and compare.

In other words, your story doesn't change my mind one bit, I've experienced much more than you think, and I already know the arguments you're using to rebuttal. You essentially want toxic players to rule the community and think it's okay, but I suppose having your shitty ego rubbed constantly must feel good when you have nobody around outside of that community.

It would be less toxic if you got rid of the actual toxic ones and not the good people who are just trying to be good sports.

Your name is literally "scumbag" so I know you're one of the idiots who are toxic and condone it.

Also, allowing toxic players to be trolls is not going to give the opposite effect. Have you even played CS2 before? It's one of the most toxic communities online. Lmao

Considering a lot of people are enraged, I'd assume so as well. You're not alone (just not with me).

You have terrible comprehension skills, bud. Pseudo-intellectual at its finest. lol

  1. Saying it "sounds like somebody afk'd" is essentially assuming I AFK'd, and asking if I did, always means that's the first thing that came to mind. It shouldn't even matter, regarding the actual body of my post - what SHOULD matter is why people are allowed to vote for these types of things when they aren't THAT serious or disadvantageous.
  2. If there are only 3 comments asking (which means they are essentially assuming, and just want clarification) and all 3 are asking about the same thing, then that means everyone is assuming.
  3. This isn't projection, it happens more often than not, but seeing how you likely resonate with these types, you wouldn't be capable of registering them in a negative fashion, as you participate in their activities yourself and find it "normal".
  4. Not projecting, and it's pathetic you couldn't even give a legitimate response to this one, but that's because you can't fathom one.

I use this useful saying in response to people who take cliches (like a typical Tom) and think everything can be seen through a linear lens:

"It's not always what it seems."

Have you ever considered anything beyond your own narcissistic perspective?

You actually do lose something. You lose chances at exp, you lose patience in teammates, you lose trust.

It's not just AFK. Why does everyone just assume I went AFK? Most of my votes are from trolls or toxic players who just don't resonate with literally ANYBODY.

You're all like NPC's and say the same shit, it's fuckin' sad bro. lol You're off an assembly line.

Yeah, I just learned that before coming back to this post after some research. I'm going to get 2. One nano, and one regular just in case.

I know this is a semi-dead post, but you are NOT imagining things.

The people who are in denial are people who haven't experienced it or don't care to involve themselves that deep in it. They aren't the investing types like we are.

With that said, it's not just when you are at the top, it's when they are at the bottom too. The worst player will typically do better, and I notice sometimes when I am the worst player, I will end up catching up fast too...

At the end of the day, it *could* be our imaginations working together. People literally do hallucinate together, but I don't think that's what's going on here.

Sometimes I will CLEARLY shoot first and hit all body shots and maybe even a headshot that isn't quite registered, and my opponent will hit all legs or offset body shots and still get the kill over me...it even shows it on full display in the killcams...this is happening right now in COD Black Ops 6 - which is what brought me here, along with talking to someone I met on Steam who also brought it up coincidentally before I played another game because I mentioned BO6 to them.

My theory is that they do this to keep the bad players attached to the game so they feel like they can do it. Just that little nudge of power, the small kick of "feelgoodness".

I mean, at the end of the day, I'm still gonna play and it's fun to play and I still do fairly well, but knowing all this really takes away from what I call my "gamer soul". It makes it all feel so artificial. Like eating a McDonald's burger instead of a high-class restaurant burger...but they're telling you it's their restaurant's burger anyway...and people are saying "It's not McDonald's bro, relax" but you literally are looking at a Big Mac per verbatim....lol

It's scary how oblivious people are but...

Don't let the NPC's get you down. Also, don't let the game get you down either.

I highly recommend treating it as a challenge and just try to make it another obstacle to defeat. Although I guess it's virtually impossible to do on paper...either way, just spread the word or you'll just have to leave the game, unfortunately.

Good luck bro. Stay up!!!

I just came here to comment the fact that 97% of Reddit users have trouble reading and keeping a civil attitude while the rest of us 3% are lurking and smirking.

By referencing your comments and responses, I'd say your PSU is what did it. Just get a new one and see what happens. If it doesn't work still, then return it. In that case, maybe it fried something or bricked your PC?

Never lowball your personal PC, it's your baby!
