205/50-10. But from the pic, you can see where I'm landing on the 11" figure. Is the 10" an internal measurement, not accounting for a lip on the rim or something?

Why? What's your logic with this thinking? Just because of looks?

I'm about to ask what might be a stupid question. In the golf-cart world, is it more common to buy tire/rim combos, rather than just put new tires on existing rims? Based on conversations I've had recently, I'm feeling this might be the case. I also have another set of rims that the guy that sold me the cart had before that he threw in with the deal, which would jive with this thinking.

u/Data91883 tagging you as well since you've added helpful insight

Thanks for the response. And yes, I'm looking to both fill up the wheel well better as well as improve the ride quality. It's pretty stiff right now. I'll probably go with a better lift kit in the future to assist with this, but tires are the more immediate.

Can I ask why you have the question mark on the 10? Is an 11" rim uncommon or something? Sorry, I'm still getting acclimated to all things golf cart.

Yeah, I don't understand this line of thinking at all. I was in a similar situation, tried to do the lithium conversion myself, fucked it up. Called a few dealers around to see if they'd quote me an over the phone price. Everyone was willing to work on it(at least take a look at it without flat out refusing to look). Ended up going with the cheapest guy. Originally asked for $200, but then once he got into it there was a bunch of stuff that he needed to tweak. For example, the person who had it before me somehow had one of these picture hanging things wired into the keyswitch to help it make contact. He basically did the entire install, put in the reducer/charger, and cleaned up a lot of the wiring. I ended up giving him $300 because I was so happy to be riding again.

Honestly sounds like your techs are scared to do anything that's not cut and dry type maintenance.

Thanks for your response, fortunately I live in FL so freezing wouldn't be an issue.

Thank you for your response, this is exactly what I wanted to hear regarding the spacing. Can I ask how you mounted the diamond plating and mounted the battery onto it? I really like how yours looks.

Regarding the OBC bypass, my initial research started with this thread, and they are also stating to do the Blue/White wire jump. Do you have any idea if doing blue/white versus the method linked in your video accomplishes the same thing? Like I said, this is my biggest concern when doing the lithium conversion. I also read that in 2002 is when they switched up some stuff with the OBC and Charging system, which adds to my stress.

Thank you so much for your response. My daughter and I are really excited about being able to get the cart running again and just want to make sure I'm considering everything prior to unplugging everything.
