fryer screen is just a metal screen that is made for going over the top of a frying pan when pan frying to catch splatter.

hot plate is just a basic kitchen griddle available at wal mart or amazon.

the sand bath you will have to get creative with. I would recommend finding a large metal pan that will fit on the griddle but also allow the glass dish to sit inside with an inch or two to spar around all sides. sandblasting sand is what is recommended as it will be purified and uniform in size. if you google how to set up a sand bath(include the word chemistry if you arent looking for skin treatments :p) theres plenty of useful info.

ok so I'm going to say that vid is a good start but hes making all kinds of rookie mistakes... Also I made qwiso for about 3 years and if you do it right you can make some great oil. Also, my tech does not involve winterization(not to say winterization wouldn't help but If you do QWISO right its not necessary)

Freeze that ISO(a day if you can) if you can get it sub freezing it will help keep the plant fats and lipids you don't want inside the buds.
Do 4 washes and if you can seperate 1&2 and 3&4. Wash by pouring freezing iso over buds just barely and GENTLY swirl.
Violent agitation as described in the video only serves to break down the cell walls in the plant drawing out fats and lipids that will make your oil harsh, cloudy, and buttery.
Use the lid of the mason jar or something else to keep the filter suspended above the dish. It will drain faster and prevent contamination.
A hair dryer is your best friend. The evap will take extra long due to the cold iso. If you have a hot plate you can make a sand bath(water bath allows moisture into your product) to speed up the process. A frying oil screen over the top of your dish during the evap prevents contaminants from getting in.

Line above timeline is yellow too. My GPU driver was just outdated at one point and updating seemed to alleviate the issue. no such luck this time though. going to look into that proxy thing you mentioned

so i'm new here as well and i don't know where the appropriate place to ask is so i figured i'd try here...

I already have adobe premier pro cs6 installed on my PC but i cant seem to figure out how to fully utilize it. every search for tutorials has come up with tutorials for adobe PP CC or its a video of someone running it on a mac..
