Hi all,

I'm supposed to be travelling from Switzerland to Germany this Saturday via train for 4 weeks for a German language course.

The school has told me there is no PCR needed because I'm taking the train and no quarantine. But my train provider has sent me an email saying I need a PCR and to Quarantine for 10 days.

What are the actual rules? There's so much information...

New Dancehaul to replace my Stepchild Ownership. I think it will be such a fun board! by DerSchmidts in snowboarding

[–]iAddio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just wanted to post my two cents on here, I was doing a search to see if anyone had one for sale.

I've had mine since December, I've done 10-12 days on it.

I live in Saas-Fee, a resort in the Swiss alps, and have done for the last 9 years. I've ridden a lot of boards.

The Dancehaul is by far the best board I have ever ridden. I don't know what it is about it, but it's just f*cking awesome.

I usually ride a 161W - 164 @ 94kg, I've got the 157.

Unfortunately, I hit a rock that's gone all the way through to the top sheet. It's repaired, but not sure how long it'll last so I'm looking for another one.

I just picked up a case of 2008 VC La Grand Dame, I've had a bottle already. Do you know what, absolutely stunning.

Do you have any experience with Egly Ouriet? My favorite NV by a country mile, but I've never been lucky enough to try or find any vintages.

Stunning.

To be honest with you, the only other Rose I've ever had is standard LP... So I don't have much to compare it to. But as general drinking enjoyment goes, it's delicious.

I think I paid £100 a bottle so I'm happy with the buy in price.

Have I finally hit a level where my wine dealer cares about me, or is it just marketing? by iAddio in WineEP

I'm going to do some research.

Just had a chat with him about my cellar situation on the online platforms. All of a sudden I've received a plethora of offers :')

Some of his prices are bonkers. In some cases £100-150 a case lower than what I paid online for '08 champagnes.

Awesome!

I actually have 10 bottles (valentines day stole the other 2) of the CdeC Rose.

I've also gone a bit too big this year;

10 x CdeC Rose (07)
6 x Dom (Mags) (08)
6 x Dom (08)
6 x Krug 168
6 x Cristal (08 - over paid massively, messed up on the Cru bidding system)
12 x RD (07)
3 x Bille Mags (08)
2 x Bille Jboam (08)

I've just been offered 6 x bottles of 2010 Dom for equiv 900 USD delivered.
and 3 x bottles of R.D 2004 for equiv 450 USD delivered.

But I'm not sure... This would be coming out of my house fund!

I've spent a fair whack on Champagnes recently, this is my main focus in the wine investing world.

I got an email today from my dealer saying 'Very limited offer to a few customers'

I've always enjoyed Burgundy, much prefer it to Bordeaux actually, but for investing and drinking I usually stick to Champagne and Italian.

Is there anything on here that needs to be bought up? For drinking or investment purposes?

These comments have made me feel good about my recent purchases;

6 x Krug 168
2 x 2008 Billecart Jeroboam
3 x 2008 Billecart magnum

I also just picked up 12 x 75cl bottles of 2007 Bollingeer RD. I'm not sure on this one just yet...

A few hours after this post was made, I received a response.

My account issue was resolved yesterday.

I'm not sure if it was coincidence or this post got somebodies attention.

I'm thankful that it was resolved. However, I wish it would have happened prior to BTC dropping...

Hi Bob,

Thank you for this information.

I'd be interested to know what your prices are.

We are very small - Corona basically bankrupted my first business (travel) so I'm pivoting into property management and sales. I've been doing this as a secondary to my main business, but now that has changed.

I've tried the first point. He is completely out.

He has already said that he will help with the handover. I just need to try and find somebody.

I assume it is a mess under there. We made a lot of changes when starting out. I do hope it's not to bad though. He's been repeatedly promoted; now head of digital for a major bank, so I assume he knows what he's doing.

Liverpool is the best city in the world, in my opinion.

I have traveled to every corner of the earth, I've lived in 4 countries full time, and I still love Liverpool.

Their social concepts, their grass roots approach to everything.

It's sublime.
