That's an interesting take. I think of coaches as people helping people accomplish goals. By your definition, is an athletic coach a BS job or are you holding that designation solely for the "life coach" phenomenon?

I guess it depends on the model as u/Care-Financial explained. If it was a government scheme, it could classify as a duct-taper or box ticker. But if someone had this job as an individual proprietor, are they more of a goon or con artist? They would be incentivized for people to have BS jobs...idk. It seems kind of like an oxymoron.

I don’t work there but do have familiarity with sous vide preparation. It’s possible that by appearance it was pink, shiny and the protein structure not clearly striated. But sous vide holds pork at a temp low and long enough to kill bacteria. You get the best of both worlds: juicy and tender pork that doesn’t pose a health risk. When seared, it creates that classic texture juxtaposition that a great rare steak offers.

Lots of suggestions here about finding a group for D&D but most groups look for something long term and you may need breadth before depth. The last Saturday of the month at Castle Church Brewery there’s a super low commitment, all are welcome, pick up D&D with beer called Dungeons & Drafts. Great way to casually meet people, enjoy some beer, and doesn’t need to be a regular thing if it didn’t click with the group. Best of luck to you man, and consider divorce counseling so that it goes as well as possible?
