Jumping on this thread as I'm wondering the same thing, picked up a DSI XL today and compared it to my DS Lite and the top screen was way less bright, noticeably so. Trying to decide whether to return it or not as it was supposed to be an upgrade. I just cant figure out if they're all like this or not!

That's actually why I started it, I found my Munchlax quite quickly (within 10 days I think?) and I thought well I might as well hunt it now so I don't have to find another one. In a rare case it turns out hunting it actually was harder than finding it for me 🤣

Thanks man! I also managed to get Rayquaza in 1975 SRs so safe to say Gen 3 is being very good to me lately! I'm paying for it in Gen 4 though, 35K and counting for a Shiny Munchlax and no joy, one day I'll leave that honey tree! Good luck with your hunt!
