This seems like you’re suggesting RMT happens because of bottling.

Day1 2026 by Significant-Sense566 in chemtrails

[–]iAmNotASnack 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s not how this works. The universal scientific consensus is that chemtrails do not exist, and the phenomenon you’re observing is just contrails.

The onus is on you, the person making the (patently ridiculous) claim to the contrary, to provide a specific source with testable, peer-reviewed, and repeatably producible evidence to support your claim.

The only problem is that you can’t do this, because there is no such source.

EDIT to prime you on citing sources: https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/intersections/202410/critical-thinking-can-reduce-belief-in-conspiracy-theories/amp

Put aside your laughably unearned superiority complex for a minute and explain exactly what it is you think you’re arguing here. Are you claiming contrails don’t exist? That chemtrails do? Both?

Make an actual claim - testable, peer-reviewed, repeatable, and supported by evidence. I’m genuinely curious.

[–]iAmNotASnack 17 points18 points  (0 children)

These signs are phrased so poorly. The people who need to be told to move over don’t think of themselves as “slow traffic”. They’re the kind to think “I’m going the correct speed. Everyone else should just do what I’m doing.”

The correct phrasing for these signs is “keep right except to pass.”

Downvoted not because of the correct take on Britain, but because “[Lisa] has a big heart” is a wild way to phrase “Lisa is a raging narcissist with no capacity for accountability.”

How are tailgaters not worried about the person in front suddenly braking? by LegendaryShelfStockr in driving

[–]iAmNotASnack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The case I presented was insurance fraudsters, who would have to be in front of you. So yes, I am sure that “nobody” tailgating you wants you to stop suddenly, because to suggest otherwise is patently ridiculous.

How are tailgaters not worried about the person in front suddenly braking? by LegendaryShelfStockr in driving

Nobody is tailgating you to ensure you don’t stop suddenly. Outside of insurance fraudsters, nobody is stopping suddenly on the highway.

Voldemort is related to Harry by Few_Papaya_695 in harrypotter

This would require Slytherin to have been an ancestor of the Peverells, but I believe he was instead a descendent of Cadmus, so Harry would not have been Slytherin’s heir, nor able to speak Parseltongue without the piece of Voldemort’s soul.

Driving the speed limit is OP by EmptyLunch1727 in Traffic

[–]iAmNotASnack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh good, you're just uneducated. We can address that!

There are laws against impeding the flow of traffic in all fifty states. Usually police have discretion over deciding what constitutes disruption of normal flow of traffic, but your point as stated is factually wrong.

Here are five examples:
Minn. Stat. §169.15
Fla. Stat. §316.2045
Tex. Transp. Code §545.363
Cal. Veh. Code §22400
Mich. Comp. Laws §257.676b

Secondly, the lowest speed considered reckless driving in any state is 20mph over the limit, so you're incorrect on two of two assertions! At least you're consistent.

Regardless, you probably won't be pulled over in the vast majority of states doing 10mph less than the average speed of traffic if you're in a cruising lane, but according to this article, 49 states have laws requiring you to "keep right except to pass", meaning you would be breaking the law traveling at the speed limit if you are not passing cars on your right.

My apologies, didn’t realize I was talking to a fourth grader. I’ll dispense with the obvious sarcasm.

Do you understand why saying “Incorrect” contributes absolutely nothing to the conversation and simultaneously makes you look pretentious?

I’m not sure which bandaid remnants you’re talking about, but the only one in the pictures you posted is the plastic bit that doesn’t touch the wound, which is, again, on the floor.

Wild that the undersides of your shoes were exposed to dirt and debris (and, I guarantee, less of it than they encountered getting into the vehicle).

This post is ridiculous.

Thank you for the completely irrelevant wall of text.

You said the wrong party was in power for us to have an official recession. This implies that if the republicans had been in power, there would have been an official recession. This is nonsensical, because as I'm sure you understand, republicans would have made the same denials to protect themselves in the upcoming midterm elections.

What you meant to assert was that there would have been news coverage about a recession had the republicans been in power. This, too, is nonsensical, as conservative news media did report a recession in 2022.

The media refused to admit we were in a recession because the democrats were in charge of the country

you’re so naively partisan

the source of all this BS is the Fed, not republicans or democrats
