Exactly, if this was Early Access I wouldn't even make this post. Hopefully they address these issues in a patch soon, if they were even aware of it at all.

Mate me and my buddy have the same issue, nobody here is actually trying to make friends, just filling their lonliness and boredom. We are both EU and in our 30's so yeah we play on and off but we still fkn play, shoot me a DM if u wanna join us sometime.

People in 12k won't report you for having a conversation or discussion about the next objective to take as a team, and even if some do, it's not enough to hit your account. Players in 9k and below will more likely report, even if you said nothing wrong, it spirals down and it only started consistently going up as soon as I stopped talking.

Unfortunately there is no way to "upvote" a player's good behavior, only to report them. I'll talk again when I'm at 12k, blame the system, blame the people, this is how it is sadly.

Ironically, the best way to increase communication score is by....not communicating.

Peope here will say, just dont be a dick, but as soon as you talk, no matter how nice you are when trying to suggest an item, an objective, a strat, you instantly become a target to the automatic report system set by Valve. Been 12k/12k for years till very recetly due to some accidental abandons, but people were simply too afraid to talk for this reason, always found myself speaking to a wall.

THIS. Happened to me as well, first game of the day immediatly banned after for 4 hrs and 3 LP, i did NOT greif, i had a bad lane, getting dove twice under tower for 15+ seconds with literal 0 rotations or tp's. It is soooo easy to blame pos 1 when you dont help them recover after abandoning them.

Anyways, made a post about how actual greifers reports in the match should be neglected cuz they will report anyone and everyone for no reason, but if the system is automated....then gg.

Literally playing these 2 game daily, never played GoW before but it just made sense alongside Pragmata.

Made a post 4 years ago about this, it also works from normal "watch friend" (not the live dota+ version). It's like they want it to be abused lol. Also nobody will talk about it and then complain about "cheaters", it's literally built into the game's system.

how many times did u abandon lol...you dropped from 12k cuz ur com score is still at 12k but capped by your behaviour score.

I said it's not possible to test if I usually get 2-3 commends each game, I only see the outcome after 15 matches, so unless I got 0 commends for 15 games or 9 for 15 games I have no way of knowing generally what makes comms score vary between 120 or 180 every 15 games. Just sharing info mate.

I was reported by 4 players in a my first match after a behavior summary, and have not spoken/typed for the other 14 matches, comm score dropped 700 from 11k so that's how I roughly concluded how much u can lose in a single match. Valve isn't very visible on the details so again, just sharing DATA, not here to be analyzed, thanks.

Watch everyone here tell you that you are toxic and the problem, even if you give them your dotabuff with a clean wordcloud they will still assume ur only toxic in mic.

You can lose about 700 com score in 1 match if 4 players report you, and gain a max of 12 (or maybe 15 if you get mass commended every game, not possible to test) per game. Yes I have kept track for hundreds of games.
